Assessment Overview Beading Activity

In the table below, each child has been graded on a scale of 1 to 3 in regards to the numeracy
concepts and skills that were used in the beading activity. A detailed observation and analysis
was completed per child and results were then recorded in has been included for you to see
an example of how the children engaged in the material. Feedback on the experience is also
provided by Marysia Quinn (Supervising Teacher).
The three stages of the scale have been developed in conjunction with the Queensland
Kindergarten Learning Guideline companion, Continua of Learning Development (QSA,
2010). The stages are as follows:
