Lesson Objectives (Explicit, observable): By the end of the lesson students will be able to strike a soccer
ball , dribble , trap, and demonstrate or articulate soccer skills
Organization Student (individual, partners, 3's, groups of?): toe to toe to transition or to separate into
groups/team. Groups of 4/5 for stations in fitness section. Groups of 2 for students during the lesson focus
because it allows students get a chance to work on techniques.

Informal and Formal Assessment/Evidence of Mastery (Include a variety of methods of checking for
understanding & creating a record of student performance): (REMEMBER THAT FORMAL MEANS
YOU END UP WITH A PERMANENT RECORD OF STUDENT PREFORMANCE T LESSONS END!
During the lesson focus I will give the students task and ask them for thumbs up for comprehension. At the
end of each objective I will ask the students to demonstrate it to me while observing if my instruction lead to
a successful outcome

WHAT WILL YOU DO TO ENCOURAGE PA BEYOND THE LESSON?
I will encourage PA beyond the lesson by demonstrating the importance of physical activity and how they
can individually benefit.

CONTENT SEQUENCE:
Opening/Anticipatory Set: (state objectives, connect to previous learning, and make relevant to real life) I
will explain the benefits of the activities and fitness. Relate soccer skills to their favorite athlete and how
they can utilize it in life.
Introductory Activity/Warm-up segment:
Move & freeze and ship wreck. Allows students to warm up the muscles and get ready for todays lessons.

Fitness Development segment: Astronaut exercises: several exercises/ stations and movements that will
allow students to work on specific muscles they will use in everyday life.
Skill Development content - Include Critical Elements, Teaching Cues, and Common Errors you will likely
need to address: soccer skills : the students will be taught beginning skills of soccer such as dribbling,
trapping ,passing, and striking.

Game Content- Include Rule Modifications and progression, rules: 3vs3 or 4vs4 soccer games in designate
playing areas.

Great job Alexis !! way to trap the ball , this time strike it with the inside of your foot when passing it
back to your partner.
Closure/Lesson Summary:
I will go over todays objective once more. Followed by having the students demonstrate or articulate
their understanding of the soccer skills and objective.

Lesson Extension:
Once the closure is done, I will assign the students homework that will contain teaching someone at
home the specific soccer skills learned.
