Volleyball England Style Guide

Our 'Style Guide' gives the basic guidelines for the visual tools that
we use to create our identity. This information outlines the rules on
how to use them. We require that they are used consistently, as
even small variations in the reproduction of our identity will reduce
our brand's effectiveness.

Volleyball England is the new branding of the English Volleyball

Association Ltd, revitalising the image of the Association to reflect the
continued alignment of strategy and direction of Volleyball in England.

The Volleyball England Logotype must be clearly visible on all

communications where it is referenced, including Club Websites,
Event Posters, Programmes and Merchandise and it is essential that
it is used correctly, consistently and with permission in all
commissions. It must never be re-drawn, modified, used with other
wording and should never be enclosed in a box.

To ensure legibility and allow for ease of recognition, a minimum size for
reproduction of the Volleyball England logotype has been set at 55mm in width.
The logo must not be horizontally or vertically stretched or distorted in any way.

55mm

Minimum Size
If a smaller logo is required, the strap line, Putting volleyball @ the heart of
your community is to be removed as it will not be legible. In this instance, the
logo should not be reduced to less than 30mm in width.

The exclusion zone, indicated by the magenta line around the logo,
is the minimum area around the logotype that must remain clear of typography
or any other graphic device, including details within a photographic background.
The formula for the exclusion zone is to allow a minimum of a 4mm distance
between the Volleyball England logo and any other logo that may follow. (as
indicated by the separation distance between the Volleyball England and Sport
England logos).

reproduce in black and white is acceptable.
