About Oman Air

Oman Air is a national carrier airline of Oman, which serves domestic and
International passengers and scheduled flights including regional air taxi and
charter flights. Oman Air is considered as first aircraft to use both mobile
phone and Wi-Fi Internet services on selected destinations. The airline was
launched in 1993 and is privately owned by the Government of Oman. Oman
Air associates with the Arab Air Carriers Organization.

Oman Air Services and Information

Baggage
Oman Air offers passenger baggage allowance of about 30kgs for Economy
Class, 40kg for Business Class and 50kg for First Class passengers. The
airline accepts baggage weight of about 32 Kg per piece with maximum
dimensions which should not exceed 158 cms or 62 inches. You can carry
one piece of hand baggage with maximum dimensions of 115Cm and should
not exceed 7 Kg in Economy Class. The hand baggage weight must not
exceed 14 Kgs with two pieces each for First and Business Class.

Food & Beverages

Oman Air offers wide variety of delicious and special meals for passengers,
where you can also order for dietary and religious meals. Travelers need to
inform 24 hours before departure or during flight ticket booking. The airline
supplies halal food on board and no need to order for a Moslem meal.
Passengers can also order for specials meals including baby meal, child
meal, fruit platter and raw vegetables.

Special Services
In-flight Entertainment: Passengers can enjoy wide range of facilities of
Arabic & international movies, TV shows news, sports, music and games. You
can read duty free magazines related to lifestyle, healthcare, entertainment,
travel and tourism throughout the flight journey.
Infant & Child Care: Oman Air will not allow infants within the first 7 days
of birth. The airline will only accept infants less than 7 days old in case of
emergency medical treatment with an approved Medical certificate.
Expectant Mothers: The airline will accept any travel from 28 weeks to 34
weeks, and passenger need to submit 'Fit to Travel' certificate from a medical

practitioner. The medical certificate should be issued by the doctor within 7

days of flight departure.

Flight Status & Check-In

Oman Air provides most convenient Ways to Check-in either online check-in
or Check-in at Muscat International airport. Online check-in is available for
passengers between 24 hours and 90 minutes prior to the scheduled time of
departure of the respective flights. Online checked-in travelers without
baggage can pass straight away to immigration and gate without waiting at
the respective airline check-in counters. Oman Air requests passengers to
report to the Airport at least 3 hours before the scheduled time of departure.
