On October 31st, 1999, a couple of friends just witnessed a terrible death. Theyve
just came back from a halloween party, walking home and smelled something
weird. They wanted to know what it was, so they tried to locate where it was
coming from, with each step they took, the smell got stronger and stronger. One of
the friends, Brenda, came to a complete stop, looked to her left and saw a house
with the door half open. All being curious, all walked slowly to the house. Once
they reached the door, the smell was so powerful, it was too much to bare, covering
all their noses, all of them pushed the door. As they reached inside, they saw a
young half black- asian girl, lying down on the floor, a puddle of blood under her
and blood all over the wall
First thing we did was examine the pelvis of the skeleton. We used the small
Calipers and a protractor to measure the sub-pubic angle, pubis body width, the
greater sciatic notch, and the pelvic cavity shape to find out whether the pelvis
belonged to a male or a female. We then examined the skull of the skeleton by
observing the the shape of the eye orbit, the frontal bone, and the nuchal crest to
figure out whether the skull belonged to a male or a female. We then began to

measure the nasal cavity. The measurements allowed us to come up with a

conclusion on what the race of the victim was. The measurements of the Femur
bone and the humerus bone help determine the approximate height of the victim.
When were trying to find the identity of the missing persons, we looked for
the sex, age , and race of the people that went missing. When we looked for the sex
for one them, we found out that she was a female because she has the
characteristics a female more than she has characteristics of a male.For the age we
came with a conclusion that she was a 13-14 female old because we found out that
her ilium, ischium, and pubis bones are joined together. And lastly for the race we
concluded that she was half asian and half black because when we measured her
nasal index it was.72 and her nasal spine was very small, And also her Guttering
was rounded and had ridges. Lastly the shape of her orbit was somewhat circular.
All these measurements gave us the conclusions of her being half black and half
asian. These are all the evidence we got when we found and
According to our pelvis examination we concluded about 13-14 because
Ilium , and pubis bones are joined together.Also our skull examination concludes
that the gender is a female because it has more female characteristics than male.
We did nasal measurement and we did found out that there half asian and half

black. In total we found out its a 13-14 year old female and its race half black and
half asian.
