Twenty years of experience in information systems as a programmer, analyst, project manager, LIS manager, and
consultant. Wide ranging experience as a medical technologist including exposure as a lab manager, section
supervisor, and generalist.
Advisory Senior Associate (Consultant) - Healthcare and Life Sciences Provided recommendations and
resources for an electronic patient identification project for nurses and laboratory for a $130 million client.
Provided recommendations and resources for the implementation, validation, and integration of new
laboratory equipment for a large not-for-profit healthcare client. Managed and provided resources for the
implementation of auto-validation of clinical laboratory and microbiology results for two top 30 hospital
laboratory clients. Assisted in the planning, implementation, and validation of a call center for a 500 bed
hospital client. Managed, implemented, built, and validated new tests for the laboratories of various clients
including the integration of these tests in Epic and eClinical Works EMR systems. Assisted in the external
College of American Pathologists inspection for a $130 million client. Assisted in the extraction of
MEDITECH data for the Epic implementation project for a $130 million client.

Laboratory Information Systems Manager Responsible for all modules of the MEDITECH hospital
information system. Responsible for ensuring connectivity of all instruments to the MEDITECH server.
Responsible for MEDITECH and Interbit Netfax servers including their connectivity to the hospitals
network. Responsible for building, validating, and approving all MEDITECH dictionary changes. Build,
test, and implement all NPR report writer reports for the business-level data extraction from MEDITECH
Magic in the LAB, MIC, BBK, ADM, MIS, NMI, and MRI modules. Create statistical analysis reports for
the administration of the hospital as well as laboratory management related to laboratory tests and results.
Ensure compliance with all HIPAA laws and Joint Commission standards related to the laboratorys LIS.
Project manager for MEDITECH software upgrade, server hardware upgrade, and MobiLab handheld
phlebotomy projects. Build scripts using Summit Script Builder 7.0. Database building using Microsoft
Access and Visual Studio 6.0. Responsible for the MEDITECH and computer training for all personnel in
the laboratory. Assisted in the integration of MEDITECH data to McKesson and Cerner projects.

Production Manager Manage all personnel in the Production Department of a parenteral pharmaceutical
laboratory including supervisors, assistant supervisors, operators and staff. Develop the training program
for production personnel. Maintain and operate all equipment in the department. Setup protocol and
validate the autoclave and aseptic process. Calibrate all instruments and thermometers for the department.
Write and update the procedures for the department. Implement and supervise the installation of new
procedures (the production of IV solutions in P.V.C. bags). Design and install new software for the
computers in the plant and instruct personnel in its use. Maintain efficiency reports. Order materials from
and deal with international providers.
Laboratory Manager Network Supervisor Manage the hospital clinical laboratory. Control the quality
of the work of the technicians and secretaries. Perform the microbiology tests for the laboratory. Install all
new software in the computers used in the laboratory and instruct personnel in its use. Design and
implement the payroll system for the hospital's computer network. Implement and revise the system of
quality control for all laboratory tests. Purchase all necessary material and equipment. Validate new
equipment and write procedures for the same. Public relations and sales for the laboratory to neighboring
doctors and smaller laboratories. Order materials from and deal with international providers. Design and
implement patient registration and account data program for the hospital network using Clipper version 5.3.
Supervisor for the hospital's Novell network.
