ABSTRACT

Our main objective is to design and analysis of pesdestrian bridge over Noida-Greater Noida
expressway. The expressway connect to Greater Noida to Noida . Population increasing day- by
day and traffic vehicles are also increasing day- by- day, an average daily traffic (ADT) of
20,000 vehicles a day. With this high of an ADT value, crossing by foot can not only be
challenging, but it also can be dangerous, so we need to construct a pesdestrian bridge for safely
cross the highway for public at pari chowk from ansal plaza to nri city. In which highway
running from greater noida to noida ). This project includes 000000 m long conventionally
supported pedestrian bridge connecting the commercial and academic areas to metro station and
bus stop and 120 m long padestrain bridge crossing the expressway. Pedestrian bridge consists
of steel superstructure with centrally located 41 m high steel pylon. The choice of structural
system for this project makes it suitable for execution with least time, at the same time with
optimized project cost and enhanced aesthetics. Direct erection methodology was implemented
for the construction of bridge and superstructure by maintaining the structural and architectural
profile requirements. The purpose of this paper is to describe the detail analysis and design
philosophy adopted for the cable stayed bridge. In this analysis we will analyse all the loads such
as dead load, live load, wind load ,seismic force ,wave pressure,tempreture effect are taken the
standard value according to IRC-code. . Along with designing the pedestrian bridge,
we performed a life-cycle cost analysis which included environmental impact,
construction practices, and material selection. Material used in this
pedestrian bridge will be stone, steel, reinforced and pre-stressed concrete.
This pedestrian bridge will have more strength and more durable.
