I am happy about the offers and features I get on my credit card, but they are high on the rate of
interest and charges on the card. Else the card could be used every where and even online there are
much of discounts as well. I bank with HDFC Bank for it.

I had taken credit card with HDFC, It was good for usage. I used to do online shopping but there
was no reward points. About the payment part every month bill generation falls on middle of the
month. If there is any late payment they used to charge some interest with minimum amount.

HDFC credit card is a normal credit as other credit cards. I had been using my platinum credit card
however some annual charges are applicable. I am happy about the credit limit, last 3 months back
they had upgraded it. But I am dissatisfied with their response, Because I had been trying to change
my address and contact no, I had sent hard copies of documents I had forwarded that to the branch.
But still they are yet to resolve my issue.

I am happy with the way my HDFC credit card functions. I am holding this HDFC credit card for a
period of 3 to 4 years. Name of the HDFC Bank credit card is Pay back credit card which is really
good. There is no additional or hidden cost which they charge on the credit card. I normally get
some cash back offers too depending on the size of the transaction.

received credit card but pin card expired. So I called and gave request to get my new pin, But they
did not respond , Then again I visited to the branch and got my new pin on the next day. My HDFC

HDFC Bank offers a Credit Card Rewards Programme called MyRewards to its credit cardholders that
makes shopping a rewarding experience. Each credit card is eligible to earn reward points based on the
type of the card. Reward points are awarded for expenses on the HDFC Bank credit card. Once a
customer has accumulated at least 500 reward points, they can redeem it from a number of options
ranging across products, gift vouchers, discounts and air miles. HDFC has partnered with brands, airlines,
retail stores, hotels, food outlets, and charities to provide its customers a varied selection of rewards
redemption.
You can earn points on your credit card by paying for your purchases or bills with the card. Every time
you swipe your card, reward points will be credited to your rewards account. Depending on the type of
card you hold, you can earn welcome points or welcome miles. On swiping your card for the first time
within 90 days, HDFC rewards cardholders of select cards with a bundle of reward points. Spending a set
amount of money in a year on your credit card will also attract reward points.

HDFC Bank provides multiple ways of redemption for reward points. Credit cardholders can redeem their
points according to their convenience using any of the 4 methods offered.

1. Online:
1. Login to your netbanking account on the HDFC Bank website: http://www.hdfcbank.com.
2. Click on Credit Cards.
3. If you havent already registered your credit card, you will need to do this. Click on register
new card which can be found on the side navigation bar.
4. After you have registered your card, click on Redeem Reward Points.
5. Select your credit card and click on Continue.
6. You will be directed to the online redemption portal where you can click on Redeem
Reward Points.
7. Select the Points Range and your Item Category.
8. Choose the items you like and add them to your Shopping Cart.
9. Once you have finished shopping, click on View Shopping Cart.
10. On the Shopping Cart page, you can edit your items and the quantity.
11. Read the Terms and Conditions and check the box to confirm you have read it and accept it.
12. Your contact details and address will be displayed, and the items will be delivered to this
address.
13. Click on Redeem to complete the process. A Redemption Order Number will be displayed,
please note it down.
14. In case you find any discrepancies, dont proceed with the redemption and instead call the
customer care service.
2. Customer Service:
Call the HDFC Credit Card Customer Care lines to redeem your points. The representative will
walk you through the process and options for redemption.
3. Through Post:
Download the Rewards Redemption Form online. Fill it up and mail it to HDFC Bank Credit Card
Customer Care address to get your rewards.
4. Points + Pay (FasTrac Items)
You can redeem your points as a discount on products you can buy from the Rewards Catalogue.
Use the points to pay for a part of the purchase and the balance will be charged to your credit card.
This option can be used only on a select product range available in the Rewards Catalogue. You can
redeem your points only through the Redemption Form.

You can redeem your points under different categories depending on what you would like. HDFC offers
the following redemption options.
1. Rewards catalogue:
You can redeem your points for products and gift vouchers from the Rewards Catalogue. You will
need to fill out the Rewards Redemption Coupon and mail it to HDFC Bank or drop it off at any
credit card dropbox. Your gifts will be delivered to your mailing address as listed in the bank
records. It will take around 10 to 15 days to reach you, depending on the availability of your chosen
product.
2. FasTrac Items:
On select items in the rewards catalogue, you can use your points to discount the product and pay
for the rest. So you could use your reward points to pay for a part of the purchase, and the
remainder will be charged to your credit card. You need to fill out the redemption form and inform
HDFC Bank of the amount that should be charged to your credit card. Submit the form and your
items will be sent to your registered address. The charge for the remainder of the item will reflect in
your statement.
3. Cash back:
Redemption of reward points for cash back is available only on select cards. You need to fill out the
HDFC Bank Credit Card Cash Back Redemption Coupon and submit it. You need at least 500
points to be eligible for redemption. The cash back will be credited to your card account within 10
working days. A redemption fee of Rs. 75 will be applicable. The cards the are eligible for cash
back are:
1. HDFC Bank Titanium Edge credit card
2. HDFC Bank Platinum Edge credit card
3. HDFC Bank MoneyBack credit card
4. HDFC Bank Solitaire credit card
5. HDFC Bank Business MoneyBack credit card
4. Airmiles:
You can redeem your accumulated reward points for air miles on Jet Airways, Air India and Kris
Flyer. Fill up the Airmiles redemption form and mail it to HDFC. You will need to have
accumulated a minimum number of mileage points to qualify for air miles. It will take a period of 7

1. Are there any charges applicable for redeeming rewards?
There are no charges to redeem your rewards. However, for handling and delivery of products,
goods and services, Rs. 75 will be charged to the card account.
2. Do my reward points have an expiration date?

Yes, all reward points earned expire within 2 years. If you earned reward points on January 2016,
those points will expire in Jan 2018. Reward points earned on Diners Club Black credit cards expire
in 3 years.
3. Can I cancel my Rewards Redemption request?
No, once you have ordered for merchandise, you cannot cancel, exchange or return it. If you have
requested for air miles conversion, you cannot cancel your request.
4. How long does HDFC take to process a rewards redemption request?
From the date of receipt of your redemption request, HDFC Bank will take 10 to 15 working days
to process your request and deliver your merchandise or gift voucher.
5. How long does Air Miles redemption take to be processed?
Once you have made your request to convert your reward points into air miles, HDFC will relay
this information to the concerned airline. It will take up to 7 working days for the airline to confirm
the conversion to air miles.
6. What can I do if the product I received is damaged?
If the product or item sent to you under the MyRewards programme is damaged, defective, or
incorrect you can contact the HDFC customer care through phone or mail. You need to inform the
customer care within 7 days of receipt of the item. HDFC will offer a pick-up and replacement.
Queries or disputes raised beyond the 7-day period will not be considered.
7. Do the gift vouchers offered in the Rewards catalogue have an expiration date?
Yes, each voucher will have a specific expiration date. This date will be mentioned on the voucher.
It can range between a month and a few years. Redeem your voucher within the validity period.
HDFC Bank is not liable to seek extensions from the merchant on the gift voucher.
8. Where are the MyRewards gift voucher valid? Gift vouchers are valid in select cities and select
stores depending on the merchant. You can check the HDFC website to find out where the gift
vouchers are valid.
