Installing Digigram Drivers on Windows 7

New card install on Windows 7 Professional for v9.20 and AVFleX AudioVAULT installations.
AV v9.20 only supports a 32 bit platform.
AVFleX 10.10 support 32 and 64 bit platforms.
HR Runtime Driver Sound Card Support
o VX882HR, VX882e, VX222HR, VX222e, VX1222e
NP Runtime Driver Sound Card Support
o VX222, VX222v2, VX820, VX822, PCX924, PCX924v2, PCX821np v2, PCX822np,
PCX440np, VXPocket, VXPocket v3
Shutdown computer and unplug the power cable and install sound cards on motherboard.
Contact AudioVAULT customer service for more information or if you have questions related to
this process.

Installing the new HR Runtime 1.72 driver

Disable any Anti Virus protection.

Install the Digigram Driver running Setup.bat from:

AV 9.20 directory (32 bit only)
<X:>\ Utility\Drivers\Win-7\Digigram Drivers\HR_Driver
AVFleX 10.10 directory:
32 bit
<X:>\ Utility\Drivers\Win 7 & Server 2008\Digigram Drivers\HR_Driver\32bit\
64 bit
<X:>\Utility\Drivers\Win 7 & Server 2008\Digigram Drivers\HR_Driver\64bit\
Where X is the CD/DVDROM Unit.

Installing the new NP Runtime 6.52f004 driver

Disable any Anti Virus protection.

Install the Digigram Driver running VX_Support_32/64bit.bat from:

AV 9.20 directory (32 bit only)
<X:>\ Utility\Drivers\Win-7\Digigram Drivers\NP_Driver
AVFleX 10.10 directory:
32 bit
<X:>\ Utility\Drivers\Win 7 & Server 2008\Digigram Drivers\NP_Driver\32bit\

Where X is the CD/DVDROM Unit.

Click Next to start the installation. DO NOT click the CANCEL button.

Click Next on the License Agreement screen

Click Next on the Custom Setup screen.

Click Install on the following screen

When prompted click Install to continue on to install this device software.

Next you have to disable the Playback and Record capabilities.

Disabling Windows Playback and Record capabilities

Because the HR drivers install a wave driver Windows can use the Digigram sound card. It is
important to disable the Playback and Record capabilities for each audio channel.
To do this:
1. Open Control Panel
2. Hardware and Sounds (category view) | Sounds
3. Select Playback Tab
4. Select Digigram Audio Card Click Properties (For each Digigram Channel)
5. Select Device usage Dont use this device (disable)
6. Select Recording Tab and repeat steps 4-5.
7. Run msconfig | Choose startup tab | unselect Digigram control panel
8. Restart

To display the disabled Digigram Audio Card Right Click and choose Show Disabled Devices

If you re-install the driver then you will have disable the playback and recording capabilities for
AudioVAULT to function properly.
Note: AudioVAULT software setup may not recognize the sound card(s) until the
computer is rebooted one extra time after the driver install.
