2015

OVERVIEW
After the successful show last August, Medicall has
grown considerably in terms of quality and quantity.
The exhibition has maintained its position as one of
the largest and best attended medical shows in
India.
In this 13th edition of Medicall held on 31st July, 1st
and 2nd August 2015, more than 700 companies
from across the globe participated in the exhibition
utilizing all the three halls of the Chennai Trade
center along with more stalls in the convention
center. Most of the exhibitors substantially
increased the size of their stalls and showcased
more products during the 3 day exhibition. It was a
true bazaar for hospital equipments and supplies,
ranging from surgical gloves to the most sophisticated medical equipment used world wide.
The show attracted Local, Regional and International
visitors which summed up to 12000. Compared to the
Medicall which was held on August 2014, there was a
significant increase of 20% in the number of visitors
this year.
Conferences & Innovation Awards took place
alongside the exhibition, which provided the visitors
an ideal platform for knowledge sharing.

Medicall is organized by Medexpert Business Consultants, a


company promoted by Dr.S.Manivannan. Dr. S.Manivannan is
an anesthesiologist by profession and is one of the founder
directors of Kauvery Group of Hospitals, Trichy, Tamilnadu.
The expo was started eight years back with the idea of bringing
in all the requirements of a hospital under one roof.

SHOW MARKETING.

Website and Online Marketing:


New and innovative online marketing approaches were employed by Medicall. Google ad words were used by
Medicall to spread the word to national and international medical professionals. Informational and educational
blogs gave Medicall a wider reach. Social medial like Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter were also used to attract
quality visitors.
Local & International Visits to Healthcare Shows:
The Official website www.medicall.in played a pivotal role in promoting Medicall. A dedicated team from Medicall participated in all major Indian and International Healthcare shows and conferences to promote Medicall.
Direct Marketing:
A Brochure (Doctor Brochure) is being couriered to more than 85,000 professionals 4 times a year. The Brochure comprises the details and updates on the Medicall Exhibition, Brainstorm Medicall conferences and
Innovation Awards etc.
Email Campaign:
Weekly emails are being sent to more than 300,000 professionals. This undertaking has been extremely
successful and has helped to reach selected targeted audience.
SMS Campaign:
Updates and reminders about the show were sent to more than 100,000 Healthcare Professionals frequently
through SMS.
PR and Print Media:
Press Conferences were organized both pre and post the show. Medicall had an extensive Print Media Campaigns covering Pan India.
Other promotions like Buyer's wish list, Scratch & Win coupons for the visitors and delegates were valuable
additions and they encouraged more and more guests to attend the event.
Outdoor :
Intensive outdoor campaigning was done in all major cities in India
