Upgrade Process to SAP Business One 9.

1 Patch Level 09

CAUTION

This document describes the upgrade process to SAP Business One 9.1 Patch Level 09
(PL09).

You can upgrade your SAP Business One 9.1 to PL09 from any of the previous patch
levels of the same version.

If you are using versions listed below, upgrade to SAP Business One 9.1 PL08 first, then
you can upgrade to this patch level:
o SAP Business One 9.0 PL17 and lower
o SAP Business One 8.82 PL20 and lower
o SAP Business One 8.81 PL11 and lower
o SAP Business One 8.8 PL21 and lower

If you are using a version prior to SAP Business One 8.8 release family, upgrade to SAP
Business One 8.8 release family, then to SAP Business One 9.1 PL08. Then you can
upgrade to this patch level.

If you have problems upgrading the SAP Business One client to 9.1 PL09, find the
solution in SAP Note 2205716.

Follow the instructions outlined in the AdministratorGuide_SQL.pdf.

The client upgrade upgrades also the DI API. For DI Server, upgrade it in the upgrade
wizard or separately.

To run the upgrade process, follow the steps below:

1. Use the upgrade wizard to upgrade the following components:
