What is J. TEST?
J.TEST since 1991 The Practical Japanese Test (J. TEST) is
designed to measure Japanese proficiency of non-native Japanese
speakers.
The J.TEST is administered in over 50 cities inside and outside
Japan. In addition to six open test dates throughout the year, We
also have IP Test (Group Test Program) for corporations and
schools.
Over 400 corporations, groups, universities and Japanese
schools use the J.TEST.
The Business J.TEST focuses on business and is aimed at

Three test tiers

J.TEST has two test tires of the A-D level test for
intermediate to advanced learners of Japanese, the E-F level
test for entry level learners of Japanese and the Business
J.TEST for the highest level learners of Japanese.
*We plan to begin offering private sittings for the Business
J.TEST in 2012
Consistent degree of difficulty in each and every test and
more chances to challenge again
J.TEST is well designed to maintain the degree of difficulty
consistent in each and every test, and scheduled six times per
year (the A-D only). If you take the test more than one time,
you will know how far your Japanese proficiency improves.
J.TEST measures practical and pragmatic Japanese
proficiency
The Listening Test is heavily weighted and includes many
expressions from real life.
J. TEST is capable of measuring a more advanced level
of Japanese communication than the JLPT Grade 1
The A-D Level Test measures a higher level of
communicative proficiency than the JLPT (Japanese
Language Proficiency Test) Level N1.
Issuance of Certificate (for Public Test only)
The certificate will be issued and delivered to the individual
examinee who score the predetermined points or greater in
each level. Every single examinee will receive the score
