How to Register a

myTNB Account

Step 1: Navigate to myTNB

1. Navigate to myTNB
portal
(https://www.mytnb
.com.my/).
2. Click on Register
Now button at
landing page.

Step 2: Registration

1. For individual
users, click
Register Now
button under
Register for
myTNB Account.

2. myTNB caters to
various user roles,
including Bulk
Account users
indicated here.
User registration for
Bulk Account is
managed backend.

Step 3: Account Registration


1. Enter Name,
Identification
Details, Email
(twice) and
Password (twice).

2. Read TNBs terms


of Use and PDPA.
Tick I have read
and agree and I
hereby
acknowledge.

3. Check Captcha
box to proceed.

Step 4: Captcha Check

1. Select image(s)
based on Captcha
specification.

2. Click Verify button


to submit input.

Step 5: Create My Account


1. Click Create My
Account button.

Step 6: Completion of Registration

A pop-up window will


display a message
for registration
completion.

1. Click OK button to
continue.

Step 7: Activation Email

An Activation Email
will be sent to users
registered email
address.

1. Click Click here


link to activate
account.
Note: Activation link will
expire within 24 hours.

How to Navigate in
myTNB

Step 1: Login to myTNB

email provided
during the
account
registration
process while the
password can be
obtained via the
email sent to the
user, contacting
the activation link

Login button

Step 2: My Setting

For first time logins,


users will be directed
to My Setting page.
Users are able to
login as Individual or
Contractor, which
provides different
dashboards and
features.

1. Click on Enrol
button under
Individual to
register role.
Home owners,
consultants and
developers should
select Individual.

1. Homepage for all


roles will contain a
main Navigation
Pane.

Left Navigation
Pane changes
according to user
role.

users login

Note: View Summary
takes users to the
Manage Account page

select My Setting.
Users can register
in another role, if
applicable.

User ID drop-down
also enables users
to switch between
roles if registered
for more than one.

1. Click Manage
account on Left
Navigation Pane.

2. Select Owned
account or Other
account tab
Owned Account
tab is the default
landing page.

3. Click Add account


Note: Owned Account
would have more
functions including
requesting for various
Applications, etc.

Owned Account
choose the Other
Account

Online Customer Service
How do I sign up for a myTNB account?
For registration, please visit http://www.mytnb.com.my. Just click on
the Register Now" button and follow the simple instructions to
complete your registration.
I forgot my password. How can I retrieve it?
Just click on Forgot Password" under Already Registered and key
in your email address. A temporary password will be sent to your
email.
I have received a temporary password but it has expired. What
should I do?
Temporary passwords expires within 24 hours. After expiry, you must
request for a new password by repeating the Forgot Password
steps.

How do I change my password?
You may change your password any time you like via Account
Management. We recommend that you change your password
regularly.
How can I update my details?
You may change your password any time you like via Account
Management.
I cant login to myTNB. What are the possible reasons?
You have entered an incorrect password or login ID.
The password that you entered has expired. You must request for a
new password by repeating the Forgot Password steps.
Your account is not in active status or the account has been
terminated.

How can I pay?
There are lots of ways to pay for your bill, including:
Pay at TNBs customer service centers, the Kedai Tenaga
Pay at One Stop Centers such as the Post Office or Telekom Malaysia.
TNBs Auto-Pay Payment Facility, which will debit your credit card automatically
every month, based on the total electricity bill amount.
TNBs Direct Debit Bill Payment Facility, which will debit your bank account based
on the total of electricity bill amount.
Pay your bills at the ATM through participating banks.
Check your TNB account details through myTNB.
Pay your bills over the counter at participating banks.
Pay your TNB bills via the website of the respective participating banks.
Make payments over the phone through selected banks.
Mail your payment to us, either by cheque or by postal order.
Pay your bills easily and quickly at selected Payquik Kiosks near you.
Pay through registered Bank Agents.

You may pay your bills online with selected merchants through our
payment gateway. You can also view your payment history online.
How long does it take for my payment to be updated?
Payment will be processed within 24 hours.
Can I check my bills from previous months?
Yes. You can view and even download your bills for the last six (6)
months.
