Gardners Multiple Intelligences and technology, so all students could demonstrate mastery of the

I conducted a presentation that focused on the use of various digital technologies to take the
traditional research essay and make it paperless.

Presented, along with two fellow English teachers, on the use of literature clubs in a high school
setting. Specifically, how the creation of a Harry Potter club can foster a love of literature and bring
various groups of students together through common interests.
National Council of Teachers of English Convention Presenter 2009
Together with two fellow English teachers we presented a panel discussion on how to use the
Twilight phenomenon in the classroom to build bridges between young adult literature and classical
literature. The presentation focused on making specific connections between the first three books in
the series and specific pieces of classical literature.
