1. How to access Amity Universitys platforms:


1.1. The Platform of Bachelor and Diploma degrees students:
- Student needs to access the platform through www.amityonline.com

- Add:
Login ID: This is usually the students email.
Password: The students birth date written as DDMMYYYY (ex. 23 Aug
1990 shall be written as 23081990).

- After logging-in, the student is now able to access his/ her platform as the
following image:

- The student can access his/ her courses area by clicking at My Courses
- Each major is consisted of number of courses per semester, usually three
to six, and each course contains several resources to study:
o Virtual Classroom: including video lectures
o Self-Learning Material: including the courses e-book, noting
that this book is the actual source to study. You may find the
assignments here, however, DONT consider them as the actual
assignments that you have to submit to the university.
o Other Learning Resources: this tab is available sometimes; and
includes power point presentations.

- The student can download the material, to study offline, by following


these steps:
o For e-book, and other pdf documents, student can click on the
download button that is available at the tablets and mobiles.
If you are using computer device, you need to click on the right
click, choose save as and follow the windows commands.

o For video lectures, student will be taken to another LMS to


access the lectures, all lectures are categorized with indexes

o Student can download the videos through YouTube, by


following these steps:
Open the video from YouTube, by clicking on YouTube at the right
bottom corner (if using a computer device). Or click on the headline
(if using tablet)
Add ss to the link before youtube word.

Choose the video size, preferably 360p

- The student is assessed through:


o Internal Assessment -Assignments (30 marks)
Section A (10 marks)
8 analytical questions (attempt any 3)
Section B (10 marks)
Case study (Answer all questions)
Nil means there is no question, no need to fill this box
Section C (10 marks)
40 Multiple choice questions
You can access the assignments by clicking on the Assignment section:

Read the Instructions carefully, then click start to start answering your
assignments
As the following picture, you have to complete the three sections; A, B
and C, you can move between them, but make sure NEVER TO CLICK
ON FINAL SUBMIT, until you complete all questions, make sure your
answers are accurate, and wont add any changes.

You can select three questions in section A, accordingly, you will need to
indicate/ select the questions number through the below highlighted tool,
make sure to click on Save and Continue after filling your answer.

In some subject, the student can complete the answer on a separated file,
such as Word document (doc not docx), and upload it, using the Choose
File tool.

o External Assessment End Term Exam (70 marks)


Section A (20 marks)
Case study (Attempt all 10 questions) 2 marks each
Section B (10 marks)
Case study (Attempt all 5 question) 2 marks each
Section C (40 marks)
40 Multiple choice questions (1 mark each)
This assessment shall be conducted and controlled by Talal AbuGhazaleh International University (TAGI-UNI)

1.2. The Platform of Certificates students:


- Student needs to access the platform through www.amitycertified.com

- Access credentials/ Log-in details, shall be received by email.


- Once accessing the platform, the student needs to click on the courses
to access the material.

- Click on Continue course to start your journey!

- Certificates only assessed by an exam, which is conducted after the


expiry of the courses duration, usually three months.

3.1. If you are using a computer, make sure that your computer
device has the following features:
Internet Explorer/Chrome/Firefox (latest version)
Flash Plug-in
Java updated on computer
3.2. If you are using a tablet device, make sure to download the
following programs:
Win Zip
Power point
File Explorer
Pdf reader
Flash Fox
