Measurable Course Objectives


Measurable Course Objectives are outcomes students are expected to achieve by the end of the course.

Play all major scales in extended form (full written range)


Play the chromatic scale (full range) slurred.
Play all harmonic minor scales in extended form (full written range)
Play three selected etudes (chosen by instructor) at a performance mastery level.
Play two selected clarinet compositions (from recommended instructors list) at a performance mastery
level.
Demonstrate consistent fundamentals of proper instrument tone, articulation & instrument carriage.
Sight read comfortably at a consistent ABRSM grade 5 level.
