Dear Dr. Schmitz,
I am writing to apply for admission into the MS Nutrition and Wellness program to
enable me expand my knowledge and skills in Nutrition and Wellness. Currently, I am a
continuing student of this noble institution, Madonna University and anticipating my graduation
in May 2017. I am a Nutrition and Food Service Management major, so I was excited to see the
opening of the graduate Nutrition and Wellness program for admission next academic year, 2017.
I have a genuine desire in advancing in the nutrition program. Presently, I have taken important
courses in chemistry, microbiology, human physiology, human nutrition, nutrition through the
life cycle, food service sanitation, nutrition assessment, nutrition counseling and education,
medical nutrition therapy, to mention but a few. With a solid foundation in these areas and with
an above-required GPA , I hope I will be able to excel in my future studies in the Nutrition and
Wellness program. Based on Madonna Universitys reputation in nutrition programs, I believe
that it will provide me with the knowledge and skills I need to achieve my visions in life.
