department aims to develop and improve the standard of the
English language among the students in the college. The courses
developed are designed to not only provide technical knowledge
but also real-life applications as well.

Course Content

The programme is aimed at developing the four important 4 skills

in English language learning in an enjoyable environment.
Participants will have the opportunity to apply what they have
learned in the beautiful island of Penang, Malaysia.
Besides learning the English language, participants will also learn
about Penang and its history, as well as the many cultures of
Malaysia.
This programme also offers participants an opportunity to
experience college life in one of the leading colleges in Penang,
Malaysia.

Learning Outcome

On completion of this programme, students will be able to:

Acquire basic level command of English grammar

rules

Converse in English in simple everyday functional

conversation

Write simple sentences in the English language

Read and understand simple text in English

Expose students to the wonders of the Penang

Island and to enable students to apply what they have learned
in real life

settings.
