Some army officers are receiving a Whatsapp message from an Indian Mobile No
addressing them by name. Message comprises some useful info with a link supposedly
leading to other important info / docs. The link actually directs users to some malicious code
that is designed to get complete access of the victims' mobile.

All users of sensitive organizations need vigilance and awareness. Following few
recommendations are hereby made in this context:(a) Do not follow web links and attachments in suspicious emails or messages.
(b) Be wary of Unknown people on the Internet.
(c) Treat all messages from unknown numbers as SPAM and delete them.
(d) Keep your systems and mobile updated with latest patches / updates
(e) Any suspicious message or link received from foreign numbers especially from
India be reported to Dte of Cyber Warfare.

Motivation Lectures
1.
Motivational lectures will be delivered by motivation staff on topic of SAFETY OF
PAF PERSONNEL BY REVIVING VALUE in morning assemblies as per Appendix D

Dress Regulations for Living-in Officers during Visit of SNCOs Mess
3.
As per Air Staff directive living-in Officers should regularly visit Airmen and
SNCOs Messes on each Monday night for taking dinner with Airmen, SNCOs & JCOs as
a gesture of caring and mutual understanding of each other. Officers visiting Airmen and
SNCOs Messes are required to abide by the following Dress Regulations while their
visit.

Uniform
(b)
Kurta/Kameez and Shalwar with Waist Coat/Shirt Coat/Pullover.
(c)
Bush Shirt and trousers.
(d)
Pant Shirt with or without tie.
(e)
Full suit or combination.
(f)
Shoes with socks or leather chapels (with rear strap).
(g)
Blazer with trousers may be worn on sports functions
Security Deposit Flat Rate Members : SNCOs Mess
4.
Security deposit of Flat Rate members has been increased from Rs. 2500/- to Rs.
5000/- in General Mess Meeting held on 31 August, 2016 duly approved by CFA and will be
charged in mess bills. All Flat rate members are required to bring their original security
deposit certificate / cash receipt for issue of new cash receipt while depositing their mess
bills for the month of October, 2016.
Security of Telephonic Communication
5.
The existing PAF and Defcomm networks are extensively used by all categories of
personnel, for communication within the PAF, sister services and outside agencies. These
networks provide only a certain degree of protection against un-authorized monitoring.
Similarly, communication through PTCL / NTC, cordless phones, Walkie Talkie sets and
cellular networks is also not secure. Therefore extreme caution and restraint is necessary,
while communicating through these networks.

USE OF CORDLESS TELEPHONE: - Use of cordless and steno telephone
sets on Defcomm extensions is strictly prohibited.

1000 hrs as per following schedule for allotment of three room service married
accommodation.

In case a JCO is not willing to occupy the three room service married
accommodation as per BRO offered to him will be considered as unwilling and his name will
be deleted from waiting list for minimum of 03 months. The said individual may apply after
03 months for inclusion of his name in the waiting list.

In case a JCO is on leave / temporary duty, then respective Unit Adjt / Section
Commander is to detail a rep for acceptance of accommodation well in time on behalf of
JCO. In case JCO is unable to report at BWO Flt for allotment of Qtr, he will be considered
as unwilling for allotment of accommodation. Loose minute of leave / temporary duty will
not be considered.
Collective Marriages : Wards of Low Paid Employees
9.
In order to facilitate low paid employees for marriages of their sons / daughters,
Collective Marriage Ceremonies shall be conducted on 30 November, 2016. The
arrangements for an austere marriage ceremony (including food) shall be managed by the
Base and sponsored by local NPF & CNPF.

Activity shall be undertaken only when 3 to 4 or more marriages are planned.
Base authorities will specify the time and venue for the ceremony in coordination
with the families.

BASE DUTY ROSTER
The under mentioned Officers, JCOs, Airmen and Civilians are detailed to perform
Base Duties on the dates as mentioned against their names. On weekends / Holidays, Duty
Officer will remain positioned in CCC from 0700 hrs till 1400 hrs and after that he would
