Bekahs tribe is in constant struggle with her neighbors for control of the scant resources the
deserts of Katapesh offer. A nomadic lifestyle makes keeping a social group together difficult,
but Bekahs brash and resolute demeanor draws battered clansmen to her side. When shes
leading others, shes very direct about the dangers theyll face, but she happily offers the
survivors full shares of the riches they plunder. For Bekah, taking big risks earns great rewards.

You may add 2 to your check to acquire a weapon ( or defeat a henchman)
( or villain).

Born a slave to human nobles in a land corrupted by devils, Lem was blessed with a quick wit
that earned him easy work as an entertainer. He managed to escape from bondage, but had
to leave friends and family behind. Now he fights to ensure that no one else has to bear the
burdens that weigh upon his memory. His greatest weapons are his easy laugh, his repertoire
of inspirational music and tales, andwhen need behis quick blade.

You may recharge a card to add 1d4 (+1) (+2) (+3) to a check by another character
at your location. If the recharged card has the Healing trait, recharge a random card
from your discard pile.

Though Meliski usually seems half-drunk, his inebriation is only an act. His talent for deception
puts opponents at ease, making them think hes an easy mark. They later discover hes led
them right into his trap, usually after hes taken all their gold. Meliski knows all the tricks to
spot when someone else is cheating, especially while hes busy cheating. He typically plays
cards all night, or at least until the barkeep timidly begs him to leave so she can close up.

Siwar cannot keep armors in her deck between scenarios.

Graceful, talented, and beautiful, Siwar has ingratiated herself into the highest courts of the
River Kingdoms. She is knowledgeable in topics ranging from art to politics and is highly
schooled in etiquette. Though she has a reputation for maintaining her associates discretion,
Siwar secretly trades information. Two criminal and political groups protect her. Both keep her
indiscretions secretthough neither one realizes Siwar works for anyone else.

When you attempt a check to defeat a barrier that has the Skirmish or the Task trait,
you may use your Diplomacy skill in place of the listed skill. ( Characters gain this
power while at your location.)
Add 2 to any check to defeat a henchman ( or villain) ( or a check to close a
location) by another character at your location.
If there is another character at your location, you may evade a bane; a random other
character at your location encounters it instead.
When you play a blessing on another characters check, and that character succeeds,
you may recharge the blessing instead of discarding it.
