PRAYER OF CONFESSION
There are so many things we have done that we should have left undone.
There are so many things weve said that should have been left unsaid.
We are so quick to act impulsively, or speak without pausing. For all of this we
repent. Slow us down, O God. Help us to be slow to speak and slow to anger.
Give us patience and gentle spirits. And when we fail, give us humility to admit
our wrongs and turn from them. Make us more like your son, Jesus, each
day.
