A Culture of Hatred(Fear & Hatred Are Closely Related)

For whatever reason, hatred oozes, seeps, and pores from every segment of society. The
intensity of hatred is the highest its ever been and commentators seem to relish fabricating,
embellishing, or elaborating on all cases of hatred and then tragically pointing to some
discrepancy, some minor slip of the tongue, or indelicate statement as proof of deep-seated and
malevolent hatred aimed at specific groups of people. This is not what Christ taught. He taught
us to forgive and forget.
Radio talk Show Hosts, Politicians, Bloggers, Social Media, and other unstable People are the
provocateurs of hatred through various communication channels.
We see now that experts, linguists, polemists, and critics from select social groups have latched
onto seemingly indiscriminate statements made by some politicians and have insight or the gifts
of perception into common everyday language that this small group of people deems are
offensive. The vernacular (common every day) expressions that many people use are now
considered pejorative, or demeaning. The seemingly harmless pursuits of art, music, and
enjoyable entertainment are now viewed as racist and derogatory. Hence, one cannot candidly
express themselves without being ridiculed or called out for harboring racialist, discriminative, or
negative viewpoints. Essentially, this is the extreme of policing others and enforcing politically
correct vocabulary and thinking. It is our understanding that this new linguistic theory is called
dog-whistle politics. In this vein, one cannot use any words that may have negative
connotations to a select audience.
The use of slang, clichs, favorite phrases, customary labels or references have been
pronounced as bigoted and stereotypic without considering that the speaker may have clean
and good intentions. He is immediately condemned as a dishonest, evil, and unrighteous
person. I guess I have to ask at this point, if the white language per se is offensive to all
blacks; if idioms, jargon, and popular sayings must be examined for any hint of bias, cultural
relevance, or partiality, then will American English be outlawed?
A few writers claim that the views and practices of the Christian Church are the source for
hatred in the world. This view has been adopted by gays, lesbians, transgenders, atheists, and
more lately by Black & White Supremacists. Fearing the others encroachment into their space,
they have verbally lashed out against their opponent.
Interestingly, America was not so hate-filled until Obama was elected to office. Whether by
deliberate intention, oversight, or through deception it appears his thoughts and behavior have
generated an immense & angry reaction from many different Americans. Afro-Americans were
emboldened by his election but disappointed by his Administration. Many prejudiced white folks
were scared and horrified by his election and equally disappointed by his Administration.
Wikipedia reports over 784 hate-groups in America and suggests that there has been
substantial growth of hate-groups in just the last 3 years. Perplexingly, the site seems to
highlight White Supremacy Groups, Anti-Muslim Groups, and Anti-Gay Groups and barely

mentions Black Supremacy, Anti-White, or Anti-Christian Groups even though there is ample
evidence that these groups do exists. The largest section of Hate-Groups was gummed together
under the rubric of Christian White Supremacy Groups, as if to imply all Christians were White
Supremacists.
Today, the interference and conspiracy of socialists and anarchists to harness the pent up anger
and hatred of Unchristian people serves to complicate real issues and real perceptions of
minorities and poor people. Whether minorities or poor people are in too big of hurry to get
theirs or if they are gullible and unthinking in consorting with the devil remains to be seen.
With the demise of true Christian love, we surmise that soon everything will go to Heck.
