GTP can customize color coordinates, particle size, and emission peaks to meet the unique needs of our customers.
* Emission peaks were obtained from an excitation by blue LED with 18 nm of FWHM
GTP YAG phosphors range from 540 to 562 nm offering a drop-in solution for your product needs.
Why LEDs?
Efficiency - LEDs consume 50% - 90% less power than conventional bulbs
Longevity - A lifespan of 50,000 hours means you wont change a bulb for years
Environmental - LEDs do not contain mercury & are made of recyclable materials
Quality - LEDs offer light with unnoticeable lumen deterioration
Color - LED bulbs can produce a color very similar to incandescent bulbs
Safety / Heat - LEDs produce up to 90% less heat than incandescent bulbs

GTP has been on the cutting edge of phosphor development and production for nearly 100 years. Beginning in 1916 as the Towanda Phosphor Works,
GTP first produced phosphor for X-Ray intensifying
screens. In 1936, GTP started producing phosphor for
fluorescent lamps, followed by television phosphors,
EL phosphor, UV phosphor and now LED phosphor.
