Purpose

To familiarize yourself with your countrys position on the conference topic.

This includes understanding:

The status of women in your country

The specific subtopics that affect your country
The domestic and international actions your country has taken to combat this problem

To come up with solutions that address the topic of the conference.

1-1.5 pages in length
Handed in before the Antares Conference and will be graded

Introduction

Domestic Action

Background information about the topic

State which subtopics affect your country
Current situation regarding the topic
Past policies and actions your country has taken to address the topic
Include quotes and statistics

International Action

How has your country worked with other countries to address the topic

What UN resolutions or committees has your country been a part of in order to address the
topic

Resolutions

What does your country believe should be done

Must make at least two proposals
