Tauheed and Its Meaning


1. Tauheed: Believe in One God.
2. Termed as Monotheism.
3. In Islam: To believe in Allah by conforming to each
and every attribute of Allah & consider no one equal
to Allah in any of its attribute.
4. Rejection to Poly theism (Shirk) and Kufar (Denial of
God)

Tauheed and Its Meaning


Literally,
tawheed means unification (making
something one) or asserting oneness, and it comes
from the Arabic verb ] wahhada[ which itself means
to unite, unify, or consolidate.
It means realizing and affirming Allaahs unity in all of
mans actions which directly or indirectly relate to Him.

Types of Tauheed
As discussed earlier the one ness of God, there are three
types of Tauheed:
Tauheed Biz Zaat. } {
Tauheed is the belief that Allaahs One, without partner in
His dominion (ruboobeeyah),
Tauheed Bis Sifaat. } {
One without similitude in His essence and attributes
(asmaa was sifaat), and
Tauheed e Amali } { One without rival in His
divinity and in worship (ulooheeyah ibaadah).

Allah, there is no god except Him. The Ever Living, the
Self
Existent.
Neither
slumber
overtakes
Him, nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the
heavens, and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that
can intercede with Him except by His permission.
He knows that which is in front of them, and that
which is behind them. And they do not encompass
anything of His knowledge except for what He wills.
His throne extends over the heavens and the earth. And
He feels no fatigue in guarding them. And He is the

Shirk
Associating partners with Allah is called Shirk.
The gravest sin is shirk, the worship of others instead
of Allaah or along with Allaah. In Holy Quran it has
been termed as Zulm e Azeem (Aya from Al-Nisa, Chap-4)

Deen: Obedience, Set of rules to be obeyed.
Deen encompasses the whole life of mankind.
A code of life in which a human being confess the
sovereignty of GOD & promise to obey his rules and
laws & dos and donts
Religion: Only a system of worship.
A set of spiritual creeds on the basis which the way
of worship and ideologies are developed.

Islam as a code of life


Not only a method of worship but also tells us &
teaches us that how should life be for a peace full
living.
As we will study further in detail, Islam gives each and
every detail of matters in Human Life.
From Worship to Economics, from Ethics to War, from
life to death, from cradle to grave, Islam gives a
complete code of life on the basis of Holy Quran and
Sunnah.

Islam a Religion or a Deen?


Islam is not only a religion that demands man kind to
worship for tis creator but its emphasis that worship
should be in the way that may cause success of life
and Nijat (from Hell).
So we can say Islam is a Deen and a complete code
of life.
