Excerpt from my Harry Potter Sequel

Harry.
He regained consciousness while hearing the voice. Yes, that should be Severuss voice.
Where am I? Harry saw the color of clean white with his eyes half open. And he felt
relieved when he realized that he must be at the hospital wing.
Severus laughed gently.
I know you have woken up for a while, he said, Come here. Lets get started with the
meeting after we finished telling you all the things.
He waved his hand to motion all the persons including Madam Pomfrey, the school
physician to walk out of the ward, but Ronald, Hermione and Severus. Even so, theres still
another person left behind who was sitting on the chair.
Mr. Locke, could you please
Greider Locke started to take off his hat and sunglasses. Hercule Poirot showed up in front
of them after a few seconds.
That took the four of them breath away.
Mr. Poirot.
What? Poirot said with a sense of pride, I got an invisibility cloak and staked out in the
classroom when I was taking the Herbology class. And then I dressed up as supervisor.
Severus and I, each of us, had a clue and Severus said he also had a big surprise which
was known only by him. Poirot said so.
Whats the big surprise? Ronald and Hermione asked. It seemed that Harry wasnt the
only one who knew nothing about that.
I had used a splendid idea to do the test with the help of Severus while we were having
lunch. I put some veritaserum into Zabinis pumpkin juice and asked him to the office in
the name of the teaching assistant. And then I asked him some questions. Poirot said.

Isnt Zabini wounded as well?

But he didnt pass out. And he got recovered when a healing spell casted on him even
though there were a lot of people hospitalized.
Ok, ok. And what happened after the conversation? Harry asked quickly.
He recalled that he didnt have any operational error which was made as the professor
told.
Oh? Harry showed a lot interest into it.
I am following up this clue as well.
Is it safe to discuss here? Hermione anxiously asked.
Basically safe here. I have asked Dumbledore and he replied with a letter to promise us a
private ward which cant be intercepted by anyone. Severus took out the letter from a file
folder.
Whats the other file? Harry noticed that theres another file inside the clamp.
Good question. Thats the next clue. Severus said. I have got some rewards from my
plan- H, hidden in the school, replied me.
Harry looked at the letter wide-eyed.
Dear Rosyth,
Hi. This is S, code-named H.
Your plan is appreciated here. The date of colonizing the school is settled at 9:30 pm
September 8th the time when all the students are asleep. The king of dark magic is
probably going to lead the army to capture our school and kill Potter.
They have got instruction from the king of dark magic that its time to do so. If they
have the chance, they can disintegrate Potters forces. The king of dark magic doesnt
care about if he will kill Potter himself but only wants him to be dead.
Are you staying in the school? If the answer is yes, then we can keep in touch by
letters. I have plotted two murders and the murderer is me. Target, time and location
are still on hold.

Harry trembled when he was reading the letter with sweaty palms.
So this murderer Mr. S r Mr. H is among us and he is ready for two murders. One is to
capture our school and kill me by naming my name directly.
Dont be so nervous. Harry. You have got us. Its not that easy to kill you as you imagine.
Severus said calmly. But first of all, S can be a woman.
Harry didnt support the idea that H was a woman. He found Elias was the top suspect.
Is it possible for Elias to poison you after you getting in for ten minutes, Poirot?
Probably. I dared not to stare at him in the ten minutes. I was afraid to be suspected if he
happens to be H. He may draw away Zabini to poison me or instruct him to do so. said by
Poirot.
Oh, yes. Ronald patted him on his head and said, Sprout had put something into Zabinis
fumet, remember?
Harry disproved him quickly.
After that she has put colorant into some other peoples stuff, right? And its said that the
dosage is made up by Elias.
I have asked Elias and he admitted. Hermione added.
Ronald was failed to approve himself completely.
So far, all the clues lead to Elias. Mr. Detective, what do you think?
All sights turned to the one sitting on the chair, Hercule Poirot who is sinking in thought.
He regained control of himself after a while with a very uncertain tone he said, The killer
can be anybody, right? These clues prove nothing if you take Fotwicks class into
consideration (even its bad for Elias).

Hey, even my points are inclined to take Elias as killer. But I do hope not. Severus
scratched his head and said.
Why? Harry asked.
Because I made two mistakes. Severus said. First, I shouldnt write to H in the name of
K.R. Rosyth. If Elias connects this name with the one who wrote that book which is easy to
attract suspiciousness.
Thats right. Poirot said, It makes him more suspicious with the information shown in the
letter that he is staying at the school- its impossible to hide the identity in the school if
youre a renowned writer. Even hes a spy who collaborates form within with forces from
outside world, you would use a fake identity to take any action above board.
Harry suddenly thought of a matter: Is that any possibility for Elias to be suspicious of
Poirot. Maybe Elias knew that Poirot was in disguise so he would be suspicious of
Rosyth.
Oh, no, no-Something popped into Harrys mind that, Poirot have told Elias that his name
is Locke.
Harry was feeling kind of deflated and said Professor Snape is the only person who would
draw a correlation between these two things.
Severus smiled and said, Perhaps, its obvious in this short time that our competitors knew
about what we have found out which is that K.R Rosyth and Kate Robin Rosyth is the same
person. Besides, I didnt say I dont have that kind of power.
Everyone laughed for a while and Poirot said, The transfiguration class is about to get
started soon. Let me make s conclusion here and then dismiss.
Harry tried to stand up. Hes almost recovered with the treatment of Severus and Madam
Ponfrey.
Do not forget Hs plot for two murders. I cant guarantee these two murders are going after
you but at least once. But his failure in the murder will provide us more clues and if we can
figure out who is the murderer that will help us a lot for the capture.
Ok, go to class and take care. Severus is going to take the ancient runes class. And the last

class is defense against the dark arts taught by Jones.

Maybe we will have a chance to talk with him and ask him to stand at our side to find out

No. Its too dangerous. Severus shook his head. The meaning of dangerous from him
was the risk of being noticed by H.
They were about to stand up and leave. And Ronald asked abruptly, Severus, whats your
big surprise?
Severus smiled and said, Close your eyes for five seconds.
Five, four, three, two, one.
Harry open his eyes and a black figure showed up as expected.
Ronald and Hermione kept their eyes wide open as Harry did.
That black cape and floor-length robe, thats it. They looked up, looked up, and there was a
magic wand in hand, sallow skin, pale face, a big aquiline nose, and curtain-like greasy hair
hanging at his sides.
Harry knew who he was.
Thats right. A deep voice appeared. Me, Professor Severus Snape is back.

Tenth
Professor!
They jumped in his arms. Snape said nothing but touched Harrys head affectionately as
Harry his own child. Severus was having a big smile on his face while standing aside.
Nice meeting you. Mr. Poirot. I am SeverusTobiasSnape.
Hercule Poirot. Its my honor to meet you, Professor. I have heard about you several times
from the kids.
I am flattered. Thank you for taking care of Whisper and other kids.
Its my pleasure. I didnt do anything.

Professor Snape sat on a chair and said, I made a Horcrux at the age of 17 when I defeated
the dark wizard Ricky. See, thats it. Snape showed his right hand to everyone with a
silver-white ring which is engraved with a snakelike mark.
It represents the power of serpent. I made a pair of this ring, one is on my right hand- its
more than a horcrux. It can exert my power to do the casting, summon and so on. The other
one is on Lily Evans hand in the tomb.
Harry couldnt move because of the extreme shock.
It will attract the resurrection bird only if a persons wish for the dead one towards the
climax. This kind of blue magical creature is really rare in the magical world. I think Harry
must be thinking of me badly at a time in the morning, right?
Harry blushed.
Thats when I was taking the potion class. Harrys too shy to say so.
And then my ring exerts the power to attract a pair of resurrection birds-they always show
up in couples. Theres always a male one and a female one for protecting each other. Once
each of them gets hurt and the other one will feel the same pain. There was a time when
illegal traders hired hunters to hunt them. Resurrection stone is made from tears (which is
the essence of the magic) of the birds. Now, the price of the resurrection birds in the market
is-certainly, I am not money-oriented person, just for value estimating- billions of galleons.
And the price for the living one can be many times over.-Erm, where was I?
The ring attracted a pair of resurrection birds. Harry reminded.
Oh- yes. Their tears penetrated the tomb and dripped on my forehead. And they flew away.
I do hope they would stay for a while on Lily Evans tomb
Snape turned around. Harry saw his left eyes shining bright with a crystal tear in his turning
moment. Severus noticed as well and he tried to speak louder in order to cover Snapes
weak sobbing. Snape wiped the tear quickly and then turned around with a very calm voice.
The medicine I took called my strength back. I secretly informed Severus to tell me
everything. And I sneaked into school to meet Dumbledore.
More and more people are joining our team, and we are getting stronger. Harry happily

said.
Yes. Thats all for today. Go to class.
Minister Jones stood by the table quietly to observe all the students. Its very awkward for
Harry, Ronald and Hermione to break the silence. Jones shook his head to motion for sitting
down.
Jones started to speak after five minutes.
The present situation of Wizarding world remained turbulent because two dark wizards
keep making terrorist attacks. Learning defense against the dark arts is to better protect
people themselves. So I wont deliver the lecture with the logic from plans and books.
Instead, I will select a group of spells to teach you for protecting yourselves.
The most excellent student is the one who master self-defense well. Please think highly of
the course of this year since its not for examination but for effective weapons to do your
self-protection. Its for your own sake to master this course.
Then he began to teach a kind of armor spell.
Lets do the simulation of a fight between two people. If your rival takes the first step to
speak out Protego then you can break up your rivals shield quickly for building up
dominant. Please turn to page 27 and the armor spell will do you this favor. Severus, please
come on stage to do the simulation with me.
Severus came on the stage as he told, took out the wand and stood in front of Jones.
Fight with me normally. Three, two, one.
Jones suddenly attacked and theres a silver shield shown up. And the air flow covering
around him kept trembling to makes squeaky noise. Harry didnt expect Jones to use such a
powerful spell since he thought it was only for practicing.
Severus startled and the panic expression faded away very soon. Then he fought back with
the wand waving a circle and then pointed at the core of Jones shield.
Disprotecto! Severus shouted and the silver light came at Jones. Harry saw the scene that
Jones protection spell exploded like a huge bubble. Jones was surprised and dazed for two
seconds. And these two seconds was a great opportunity to attack. He held the wand and

said in the heart Expelliarmus. Jones was knocked up by a red light with the wand flying
away and hitting Ronalds book.
Excellent, Minister stood up from one knee after another one and dusted himself off.
Severus made a bow and calmly went back to the seat.
Have you guys seen that? Jones said to the students. When the rival uses the defense
spell, you can use this armor spell. Severus made the response in a short time that earns him
two seconds to attack. One or half, even 0.2 second is super important for the high level
wizards.
Then, Jones separated them in pairs with special reasons-Two students from hostile houses
for a team and the one who won in the fight gets two points.
Harry was in a group with Severus and he knew that he didnt have the chance to get these
two points. Thus, he made a stand for finishing the fight quickly in order to observe the
fight among Jones and other schoolmates.
One idea suddenly flashed across Harrys mind when Severus took out the wand. He
thought that Severuss armor spell is unassailable so it almost put him in the passive
position if he made shield charm. And hes ready to change the moves in accordance with
Severuss spells.
Three Two One
Harry suddenly shouted Expelliarmus. Red light sprayed out and crashed into Severuss
silver light. The shield-smashing spell lost its power compared with the disarming spell.
Severus was attacked by a shockwave and he regained balance soon. And then he lifted up
the wand and a red light flashed out. Harry lost consciousness when he got the feeling of
flying backwards.
Hes lying on the cold floor in the classroom when hes awake. He stared at the ceiling
blankly and was pulled up by Severus.
Your plan is brilliant, Potter. Severus grinned from ear to ear and gasped for breath,
But you lost. You didnt response as quick as possible, Potter.
Harry said nothing because its a great success for him since he had won Severus once. So

he didnt care about the final result of losing. He was heading to the seat when Severus held
him back.
I believe that youre feeling satisfied with your success for defeating me once and I am not
saying that I cannot accepting the fact that you won once. But it proves nothing. What
about confronting with Swain even if you defeat him once? He definitely will kill you. You
cant beat the dark forces. You were defeated by dark wizard. All you have got is just a
short round success over him or nothing.
Harry hardly noticed what he was talking about while hes immersing into the the pleasure
of winning. Jones started to speak.
According to the scores, Gryffindor scores 36, Ravenclaw 22, Hufflepuff 18, Slytherin 44
and Severus 10 for the performance of defeating me just now.
A disgusting booing voice came from the side of Slytherin and Malfoy clapped the hands
with Severus with invidious eyes upon Harry. Harry understood that Severuss sided with
the friendly camp and he felt no fear about Draco Malfoy.
The class was over and Harry walked out of Jones classroom, heading to Gryffindor
common room. What surprise him was that not only Ronald, Hermine, Severus and Poirot
sat in that single common room but Ginny and Luna.
Harry. Ginny and Luna said Hi to him.
Hey. Harry answered them quickly and turned to Severus, Where is Professor?
Professor? Severus startled.
Yes, where is the professor? Ronald noticed that as well and asked.
There may be a broadcast calling up the teachers for a meeting. Severus said.
Wheres the meeting location?
At potion office.
Harry felt a pang in his heart. If H happened to be Elias, then he would take the opportunity
to execute the murders.
They have asked the student representatives for meeting. Hanna and Ernie from
Hufflepuff, Brown and Montgomery from Ravenclaw, Dean and Seamus from Gryffindor,

as well as Malfoy and PansyParkinson.

Dean and Simo? Harrys confused since he thought if H was targeting at hurting people
in Gryffindor, then why he chose two people who were totally unrelated? Was it a warning
or threat?
But no matter how, we have to protect them. Severus said firmly.
Yes. The rest of them replied together.
Thus, they took actions quickly as Harry, Poirot and Severus for a team, Ronald and
Hermione for another one as well as Luna and Ginny for the third team.
See? Who is that? Severus pointed at the two figures ahead of them.
Harry took a closer look and found out two figures were Draco Malfoy and his lover
Parkinson. They snuggled against each other heading to the magical potion office. Harry
and Poirot stepped aside but Severus.
Severus took out two invisibility cloaks from Poirots handbag and threw one for Harry
(Harry caught it), and another one for himself. He took small steps forward with taking the
footsteps under control. But its totally unnecessary since Malfoy and Pansy were busy
talking with each other.
I cant believe that Elias exploded the magical potion. Pansy said to Malfoy.
Yeah Malfoy answered absently and touched Pansys hair gently. He kissed her on the
forehead softly.
At this moment, Harry heard a rustle with his sharp ears. And Severuss moving speedily.
Harry suddenly wanted to laugh and Severus stretched out his head form the invisibility
cloak and made a face at him.
Elias isnt as good as others in teaching. I really miss the time when Professor Snape
worked as the dean
Theres no need to wait. Its now.
Severus put his right hand on his left shoulder with a dramatic right-pulling movement for
tossing off the invisibility cloak and hiding them behind his back quickly.
Everyone, He answered in a deep voice, Its time for the meeting.

Malfoy dodged aside nimbly by instinct. Instead Pansy didnt have this kind of instinct so
she was too scared and gave out with a scream.
Severus. Malfoy said viciously.
Draco. Severus replied sarcastically.
Mailfoy was crazily staring at Severus, completely ignoring his bemused girlfriend. He
suddenly reached for the wand and when he held it steadily, Severus schtillera (the wand
of Serpent) was pointing at his forehead.
What the hell is that? Malfoy shouted.
You and she to be alive or dead are decided by me right now. Severus said calmly. Come
fight with me if you wants, even for two versus one.
Malfoy looked like a balloon- his anger went up for a climax and then became discouraged.
Go to the meeting. He said calmly, Dont forget I decide your fate. Malfoy.

Eleventh
Three teams met up at the magical potion office and Severus briefly described what
happened just now. They stopped at the door. Severus took out two red bean size small balls
out of the pocket and knocked by the wand while the silver ball flew towards the office.
Scout bee. Severus said, dragging them into the broom closet and open a trapdoor. Its a
small dark room with two couches. And the seven of them found their seats.
Severus waved the wand to light up the room and said, This is a workshop for me and my
father. Its very safe here and cant be found on the marauders map. Look up there
Severus pointed at a door and Harry look at it which is marked with Chamber of Secrets.
That- is a door which you can get to the Room of Requirement, and here, marked with
lead to Slytherins dormitory and common room.
I spend my time working and sleeping here when I was bored.
Whats that ball? Ronald asked.
Oh, yes- Scout bee, a detector. Now- Severus said something sounds like French. And

theres a motion picture shown up at the top of the wand, thats exactly the magic potion
office.
Dumbledore sits right in the middle while left side, Professor Snape. All the professors are
presented. Professor McGonagall stared at Professor Flitwick with a stern look on his face
while Professor Flitwick leisurely humming songs. It looks like Professor Sprout was just
taking his seat with a cool facial expression on his face looking around everywhere. Whats
more- Elias was obviously thinking of something while his mouth was covered by his hand
with forefinger tapping his cheek.
Maybe he was thinking of a murder?
Everyone is here. Professor Snape whispered in Dumbledores ear.
So Dumbledore clapped his hands and theres pin drop silence in the room.
All teachers and student representatives, I asked you all to come here in order to discuss
the safety issues. Security incidents have occurred frequently
They all participated in the discussion. It seems normal by observing everyones words and
movements. There were always people leaving the room for several times. One is Flitwick
to the bathroom. Another one is Professor McGonagall asking for tea. Because of that,
Dumbledore allows them to take a break together.
Dumbledore, I have a safety report for your information on the meeting later. said by
Elias.
Sure.
So everyones dismissed and Severus asked the three teams to trail after them.
Poirot said that, Its the perfect timing to the murder so please pay full attention on them.
So they took action as Harrys team target on Elias. He found out Pansy was there when he
arrived at the office (its not the magical potion office).
Miss Parkinson, could you please go to Sprouts office? She has made up a dragon powder
prescription for my joint disease.
What does it look like? Pansy asked.
Its green and looks like Floo Powder.

Pansy came back in five minutes.

Professor Sprout is not there. she said.
Oh? Let me go check about it. Elias said with a flick of the eyebrow.
Harry followed them and found the door locked. So Elias cried Alohomora to open the
door. Elias said, Please find out the dragon powder, ok? Pansy did as he told. Harry saw
clearly her facial expression full of revulsion while she was turning her head around.
Its here. said by Pansy after two minutes.
Excellent. My good girl. Elias took two bottle of green powder from the cabinet and
walked back together.
Want to have some tea? Elias asked in the office.
Ok
Put some dragon powder into it. Its good for the brain.
Just a little. Pansy thought it was too rude to refuse the professor.
Elias poured out some powder for Pansys tea as well as his own tea from one bottle.
He took a sip of it.
It tastes so good and special. He said, Want to have some more.
Then he poured out a fistful of powder from the other bottle.
After finishing the tea, Elias stood up to put back the powder and cups.
Lets go to the meeting.
Harry met up with the other two teams while the meeting. They told each other what they
have experienced. McGonagall and Flitwick were having coffee and cookies while Snape
and Dumbledore were standing in the same spot. Luna asked where Sprout was. She saw
that Sprout was going upstairs which proved that she wasnt in the office.
Pansy was heading to the bathroom and the rest of them continued to do the discussion.
Dumbledore noticed clearly that some of them looked tired.
Severus yawned heavily.

Poirot said: It cant be like this. No.

It cant be like what? Harry asked.
The voice was so towering just now.
I think it cant be that boring here, Poirot said about it in the depth of thought. I sensed
that the murderer is among them and planning to do something, tonight
Three girls shiver run over their body and Hermine cried out gently while Ginny is clinging
to this side subconsciously. Even Luna looked paler than usual.
You cant do this. Mr. Poirot. Severus said, Your words scared them. Remember you are
just a stranger to them.
The great detective realized the mistakes he had made and apologized to them, and then
heading to make some tea in the kitchen. Severus helped him out by using his Serpentwand.
And Harry couldnt see clearly while he is too fast to cast spells. And the atmosphere
became less tense when Poirot came back with tea.
Tell me the way you made the judgement. Severus asked when Luna was saying thank
you to his tea.
By my seventh sense. Poirot answered briefly, with confidence.
Hermiones hand stopped in the mid-air with a cup of tea.
What were you talking about? Ronald asked.
The seventh sense, Mr.Weasley, the seventh sense. Poirots banging on the tea table
impatiently. Thought is the sixth sense of human being and the seventh sense is also called
as intuition. Normally woman is the one with sharp instincts. And the sudden conclusion
comes from the composite analysis of the other six senses.
What information you got from your seventh sense? Severus stared at him curiously with
his body leaning forward and hands crossed.
He told me, Poirot closed his eyes and leaned on the couch, that the murderer is going to
do something.
He snapped his fingers gently.

At this moment, the grandfather clock began to strike the hour. Ding A strong voice
rang from the whole room. And everyone was startled. Harry was scared to jump up while
Ronald and the three girls were lying on the couch as Severus trembled slightly.
Thats enough. that was the word he used since he was startled twice in the last few
minutes.
A look of fear passed across Poirots round face.
S..Sorry, he barely said that, I di..didnt really mean it.
Severus said nothing. He walked directly towards the workshop and took out two bottles of
dark blue liquid with several pieces of while medicine.
A bottle for one person, take two or three sips and one piece of medicine.
What? Harry was puzzling.
Thats a draught of peace which is better than Madam Pomfreys sedative. The white
medicine is Paterson. Professor and I developed this kind of sedative.
Everyone took quantitative medicine. Even Poirot took two pieces of Paterson.
Suddenly, Poirot jumped up from the floor.
Where is Parkinson?
Everyone who was taking the medicine suddenly realized that Pansy had never come back
after she went to the bathroom. And the people in that room were still doing the discussion.
Let me have a look. Severus took one invisibility cloak with him.
He came back in five minutes.
Pansy Parkinson was died in a murder.
