Our Caribbean identity is influenced by Colonialization, Art forms and Labour from disaporic
communities through hybridization, cultural diffusion and enculturation. The Caribbean is
unique and unlike other geographical regions, it is our diverse culture and heritage which makes us one. Due to our historical ties to colonialism, we can begin to examine the individual factors that now give us our own identity. From the love in which our ancestors associated with their diaspora, we see traits and characteristics from all regions of the globe that shared our homeland in a once colonial time. It is only through the reluctance of letting go of our diaspora, we can claim to have an identity simply because if we were to let go of the things which molds us we would then be shapeless.
