SELANGOR FLOORBALL ASSOCIATION NEW BY-LAWS

1. Each registered clubs and players are bound to a one year contract starting from the period of
registration until the new transfer window period opens.
2. Each clubs and players shall obliged to the set of rules stated in the by-laws during the contract
period.
3. Each clubs registered are NOT permitted to join other state league during the contract period,
however non-state level tournament not organized by SFA are allowed prior theres no conflict of
dates & interest should a SFA organized events or tournaments be held on the same date.
4. Registered players are NOT allowed to join other state team or state league during the contract
period, however non-state level tournament not organized by SFA are allowed prior to own club
consent and permission.
5. State team selection are exclusively for registered Selangor Floorball Association players only, and
should a player not registered with SFA wishes to apply for the selection, an appeal letter shall
be sent to the committee followed by a hearing to discuss the appeal.
6. Should a registered player wishes to transfer or to be loan to or by other state association for
state-level tournament, a hearing shall be held to discuss the reason and interest of the player
and the receiving state. SFA committee shall have the final say for approval.
7. Should there be a clash of events or tournament dates with other state, registered clubs or players
of Selangor priority shall be to SFA first. A hearing can be held upon request of the club or player
to plead otherwise, however SFA shall have the final say.
8. Any registered SFA players who wishes to play in a foreign league during the contract period shall
write an official letter to SFA stating their interest, and the committee shall discuss together with
the player to advise on the suitability in terms of playing time and dates shall there would be any
clashing with any events or tournaments organized by SFA. SFA shall not permit, but to advise
and assist anywhere possible to the players.
9. Registered clubs or players found obstructing the SFA by-laws shall be penalized accordingly. The
fines shall be determined by the committee during a committee hearing.
10. Benefit of being a registered member of SFA shall be given equally to each club and player, as
stated in the new policy.
11. SFA shall aid registered players who have been selected to represent the national team, in terms
of financial or support anywhere possible given that the association have the proper funding
necessary to do so.
