to talk about future plans using be going to vs will; present continuous for
future action
2. to write a friendly e-mail; making arrangements through e-mails

Warm up:

Hot potato: Ss pass around a plush toy. The S who has the toy has to answer a question
from a list the T has prepared.

Q: What are you going to be when you grow up?
Q: What are you going to do this afternoon?
Q: How will life be in the future?
Q: What will people eat in the future?

Homework checking:
Aim: to activate the previous language (be going to vs will; present continuous with future
meaning)
