1920

The 1920s were an age of dramatic social and political

change. For the first time, more Americans lived in cities than
on farms. The nations total wealth more than doubled
between 1920 and 1929, and this economic growth swept
many Americans into an affluent but unfamiliar consumer
society. People from coast to coast bought the same goods,
listened to the same music, did the same dances and even
used the same slang!
Your task is to come up with a presentation that can take us
back to the hustle and bustle of the 1920s and give us a real
perspective on what life was like almost a century ago.

1. Pick Your
Presentation

Select one of the presentation options you find on your project menu. Make sure your entire
group is on board because you will all need to participate in the creation of the presentation.

2. Set the Stage

You are responsible for bringing in all the necessary props and supplies to make your
presentation one of a kind.

3. Rate Your Group

Everyone is responsible for grading each other on how well they worked and how much you
contributed. All of these grades will be factored into my grade for you.

4. Project Due Date

On ____________, you will have completed your presentation and submit either your scripts or a
hard copy of the presentation and your check list to me. BE READY TO PRESENT THE NEXT
