studied:

Belief Systems
Identity
Power
Justice & Equality
Environment & Society
Technology

Choice
Diversity
Change
Conflict
Social Class
Family & Gender Roles

Class expectations

We will be reading about a lot of hot topics, my goal is to teach you hwo to be
analytical and critical about what you read/hear while still being able to see
multiple perspectives. This being said, please come to class with an open
mind, ready to participate in our discussion and being respectful to everyone
in the classroom.
Be to class on time so that we can get started!
We will use all of our class time, do not pack up early.
Come prepared with all your materials, homework, and research.
Please use the restroom before and after my class, restroom breaks are only
allowed in the first 5 minutes of class during our warm ups.
I do enforce the schools dress code! I dont like dress coding you, you dont
like me dress coding you. Follow the dress code!
Profanity, cheating, slandering, or ridiculing will not be tolerated. Learning
can be messy but we will do it together regardless if we do/dont share
beliefs.
We will have a lot of class discussion, literary circles, etc., so I ask that during
work periods each student works individually.
All other expectations are consistent with the FHS Code of Conduct.
