Waking the Cadaver

Morning of November 16, we visited the Cadavers. Before going to the Medicine
building, I ate my breakfast first. I thought that I can do it, but when I saw the real thing I was
shocked by the looks and the smell of the deceased. I almost threw up when I suddenly smelled
something strange. I thought that I can touch them but my fear and disgust attacked me when I
was there.
It was a blast, yet I feel sorry for them because our professor said that some of them are
not claimed by their family. Its okay, they helped so many medical students in their stay in the
world. They gave hope, smiles, and achievements to the medical students.
Seeing my first cadaver is a mixed emotions, I am happy yet I am sad. I hope their souls
will be peaceful and be with God in no time. I hope they lived their life to the fullest. I am going
to pray for their souls and may they rest in peace.
