CLIENT PROFILE
The Client is Garage Owner providing Car Maintenance services for local customers
and now Client want a System that can manage maintenance requests online through
Car Maintenance and Garage Management System.

Business Needs
Client wanted a System that can manage
maintenance requests online through Car
Maintenance and Garage Management System.
Car maintenance and Garage management
system is a portal that involves interaction
between consumers, garage owners and the
grossiers. Consumers request the best deal for
the maintenance of their car in the nearest
vicinity (15 KM) of their home and thus, receive
an email having the best offer price along with
maintenance job details and list of garage
owners. Consumer can then go to one of the
garage owners from the list to get their car
maintenance done at the best offer price given
in the email. Garage owners can order parts
required to get the maintenance job done to
the grossier by making use of external ordering
system via web services integration and call to
external system interface.

Gateway Solution
Our team went through clients requirement
and designed a workflow solution where Admin
can change business rule parameter which is
used to calculate offer price for different
maintenance job at runtime.
Admin has also been provided a facility to
generate Test report for 2000 license plate
numbers to verify business rule implementation
to calculate offer price generation process. The
statistics generated provides details on total
success & failure rates for offer generation. The

test report generated also provides information


regarding why offer cannot be made for a
specific license plate number. This helps the
admin to make necessary changes in the
business rule parameters.
Garage Owner can use this site for processing
the customers request for the car
maintenance. Garage owner can order parts
required for maintenance to the grossier to
which they are registered. Admin handles the
complete site management, report generation,
business rule management etc.
