WE COMMAND YOU, that all business and excuses being laid aside, you appear and attend the
Public Hearing sponsored by the New York State Assembly Standing Committee on
Corporations, Authorities and Commissions at Room 423, Legislative Office Building, Albany,
New York on the 28th day of June, 2010, at 11:00 o'clock in the forenoon, and at any recessed or
adjourned date thereafter to give testimony relevant to information related to the subject matter of
the Public Hearing (Hearing Notice Attached). You are also directed to produce and bring with
you the following documents and provide a list or description of all documents or
communications called for by this subpoena duces tecum which have or may have been destroyed,
altered, amended, or transferred:
To the extent you believe that any such document or material demanded above is subject to a
legally recognized privilege, please identify the document for which the claim is made, the nature
of such claim, and the persons who had access to the document or documents at any time. To the
extent that you believe any document or material subject to production pursuant to this subpoena
has already been produced to the committee, please identify the identity of the document and the
time and manner of transmittal. Previously produced documents are not subject to the demands
contained herein.
This request shall include, but not be limited to, any and all computer-generated information,
hand or typewritten documentation, emails, phone logs and any other logs or records, and all
drafts or copies of said documents.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF THE SUBJECT
OF THE INQUIRY AND INVESTIGATION
This is to advise you that the New York State Assembly Standing Committee on
Corporations, Authorities and Commissions pursuant to Section 60 of the Legislative Law, and
pursuant to Paragraph (c) of section 1 of the Rule IV of the Rules of the Assembly, is holding a
hearing concerning the need for legislation to bring increased accountability, transparency,
efficiency and fiscal reliability to the activities and operations of authorities, municipal
governments, and other public entities, including economic development corporations, local
development corporations, industrial development agencies and affiliated corporations within the
state of New York relative to the compensation of officers, directors, employees, agents,
independent contractors, and any other key figures. The inquiry and hearings will develop
information, inter alia about the compensation of such individuals, which may require oversight
and change addressed in legislation currently before the New York State Assembly or the
Standing Committees on Corporations, Authorities and Commissions, including, but not limited
to, Assembly Bill No. A.11461, A.11223-A, and A.11222-A.
