Introduction
Creating a healthy work environment is beneficial for any business. The following plan
has been designed for the employees at a preschool, where I currently work. The presentations
will be delivered as training meetings with staff members to promote holistic approaches to the
following health topics: physical, emotional, social, spiritual, nutritional, and intellectual. Mildon
provides useful tips for holistic approaches in health. Some of those changes include: eating
clean, recycling energy, growing yourself, stop rushing, and connecting (2015). This article will
be used throughout the presentations for holistic approaches.

Reflection
A holistic approach to your body, mind and soul can not only transform your health and
well-being, it can benefit your relationships, make your more patient, understanding, loving and
generally help you to become more awake as a person in your day to day life. (Mildon, 2015).
Numerous studies show that job stress is the leading stressor in American adults. Increased levels
of demands with little control lead to stress, which have been associated with increased rates of
heart attacks, hypertension, and other disorders (The American Institute of Stress, n.d.) As a
company, we can encourage employees to make self-care a priority. Supervisors can commit to
making the wellness of employees a priority as well, to reduce the stress in the workplace. By
delivering the six meetings covering the different health topics, employees will have the
opportunity to be supported and lead healthier lives, having a positive impact in the workplace.
