I am drawing on more than thirty years of
pursuing physical, mental, and spiritual
fitness with a passion. I am going to leave
out the filler and give you what you need to
make fat loss automatic.
I have discovered that success in every
area of your life becomes effortless once it
becomes part of your lifestyle. At one point in
time, tying your shoes was an effort. Later in
life, getting to work without directions would
have been impossible. At work you had a
learning curve while you were introduced
to your new duties. Once you learn these
things and do them on a consistent basis, you do them without much effort. When
was the last time you had to concentrate while tying your shoes? Have you ever
driven home from work and you were supposed to stop by the grocery store but
forgot until you were in your driveway and had to face your spouse? Of course, we
all do that. We are on auto pilot. How about your responsibilities at work? You can
do a lot of them without thinking now, cant you?

Know your why and the what and how will


take care of itself

Your why in life is your purpose in life. This is the time to put in a little work and
define why you want to do what you are setting out to do. Once you know your
why, it will be so much more powerful as you go about implementing the Extremely
Simple Fat Loss Principles. Knowing why you want to be more physically fit,
vibrant and healthy is probably the most energizing revelation you can have.
Step 1:
Write down why you are passionate about getting into physical shape. Next to
each why on your list, write a brief paragraph defining why you are committed
to achieving the result you are after. Why is very powerful. (ie. I want to get my
body-fat down to 10% so I can live a long, healthy, vibrant life and enjoy my family)

Take the above list and put together an action list of things you would need to do to
achieve them in your life. This is where you formulate your plan. It is easier to put a
plan together once you know why you are doing it.

For each step in your plan, write down one or more habits you will need to
develop and the disempowering habits you will need to get rid of in order to
support your ultimate outcome. Imagine if you exchanged 6 limiting habits for 6
empowering habits every year. In five years, that would be 30 empowering habits

that you do without effort and 30 disempowering habits that dont hinder you any
