What is arbitrage?

The dictionary definition of arbitrage is the practice of buying something (such as foreign money, gold,
etc.) in one place and selling it almost immediately in another place where it is worth more. For us we
are going to buy a service on Fiverr.com for $5.00 and sell it for $20.00 or more somewhere else.
Think of yourself as the middleman or contractor looking to hire a subcontractor. If you hire a
contractor to build your house he will subcontract to a plumber, electrician, and someone to put in the
basement etc.

Your job as the middleman or contractor will be to make the match between paying clients and
these services.
I would strongly suggest that you specialize in one area to start. Once you become an expert in logo
arbitrage or resume arbitrage then move on to other related areas. If you really want to sell
physical products on Etsy stick with one niche until you are a sought after seller and then move on
to others.
We will find a service that is in demand and outsource the work. More on outsourcing later for now we
will talk about arbitrage.
Briefly here's how you do it. There is much more detail in the other PDFs.
Fiverr/EBay
Create your free EBay account. Find a popular service on Fiverr.com that you can resell. Find at least 2
Fiverr providers and check their reviews and ratings.
Check on EBay to see that these services are selling for more than $5.00 and that you will make a profit.
Create your listing on EBay using the information provided by the Fiverr provider. Add one or more
days to the Fiverr delivery time.
On EBay post your service offer in the "Business & Internet/Websites" section.
When your service sells, let the buyer know what information you require from them for the gig.
After you sell the service go to Fiverr.com and hire the provider to complete the gig! When the gig is
completed keep a copy of it and send it off to your buyer.
Fiverr/Etsy
This is a little bit different than the EBay arbitrage method. For Etsy you need to set up a store front.
But this is free and easy to do. Etsy sells mostly homemade items. Although they are now allowing
more types of items to be sold.

Go to Fiverr and look under more and gifts. Find some homemade items that you can sell for more
money on Etsy.
Or go to Etsy and look at what items are selling at a good price and search for them on Fiverr. Once you
have found a few items put them in your Etsy store. Notice what colors are available on Fiverr and other
specifications. You dont want to say the item is available in red when Fiverr only sells blue.
You will need pictures for your Etsy store. You could take a picture from the Fiverr seller but I wouldnt
recommend it. Instead buy the item from the Fiverr seller (its only $5.00) and take good pictures of it.
Again make the delivery time 2 or more days longer than the Fiverr delivery time.
Fiverr/Craigslist
Craigslist is a bit different since you can find people requesting a certain service. You can answer their
ad and provide the service from Fiverr.
Go to Craigslist and pick a fairly large city. Then under gigs click on computer, writing or whatever. Or
click on services. (Again the specific PDFs are more detailed.)
Once you find someone looking for your service you will have to email them. If you have purchased a
sample gig from Fiverr you will have a sample to show them. Once they hire you you will find the
service on Fiverr and purchase it.
For some services you will have to quote your price. Get the information from the buyer for want he
wants done and send it to the Fiverr seller to see how much they will charge. Then you of course will
quote at least 30% more to your client.
On Craigslist you might want to take a 50% deposit before you accept the gig. Only after you receive the
deposit do you contract the Fiverr seller. You can have them access the digital product through
DropBox. If revisions are needed most Fiverr sellers will do them.
Make a copy of the completed gig for your portfolio and then send it off to the client. This way you will
have samples of your work.

Another way is to look at Fiverr and see what services you could offer. Then put your own ad on
Craigslist offering the service at a much higher price.

What to look for in a Fiverr seller:

Consistency, quality, reliability, good reviews, fast response time, fast delivery time. You will want to
buy the service or product from Fiverr before starting your arbitrage. This way you can judge the quality
and reliability of the seller.

Once you have purchased the product you own it and can do what you like with it. Be sure to take
pictures of it for you listings, portfolio and marketing.

Once you set up a system, youll be able to automate your business to the point where you only
have to check in from time to time.
