Product Description

Principal Applications

Verified by independent European testing as being suitable

for Tension zone installations, the SpaTec PLUS is a medium
to large diameter very heavy duty mechanical anchor with
comparable performance to self cutting undercut anchors.

Ideally suited for critical primary structural fixings into

concrete where performance and reliability are paramount
and where extreme shock or cyclic loads may occur.

Available in Zinc for interior applications in M10-M20 sizes

(15-28mm Hole) & Stainless Steel for exterior applications in
M10 & M12 sizes (15 & 18mm Hole)

Cyclic load applications such as anchoring braces for

Precast panels
Critical primary structural anchors such as used in
bracing diaphragms
Critical connections between steel portal frames and
concrete panels
Anchoring large vibrating machinery and plant

Anchoring into concrete tension zones

Installation Procedure

Installation Features & Benefits

Suitable for installation with impact wrenches

Installed after a fixture is positioned which makes
multiple anchor alignment easy
No Stud protruding from anchor which can interfere
with a socket or wrench
No thread damage occurs when a hammer is used to
install anchor
Suitable for a range of fixture thicknesses up to 25mm
Pulls down a gap up to 8mm
Unlike undercut anchors, no special drill or setting
techniques are required

1. Drill recommended sized holes as per specifications.

2. Clean hole thoroughly with brush. Remove debris by
way of a vacuum or hand pump, compressed air, etc.
3. After ensuring anchor is assembled correctly, insert
anchor through fixture and drive in until washer
contacts fixture.
4. Tighten bolt with torque wrench to specified assembly
torque
