Ladies Ministry Paint Party

The Ladies Ministry is hosting a Paint Party with April Pollock
Buffaloe on Friday, Dec. 9, starting at 6:00 PM. To sign up, go to
SouthernSeeds.us/paintparty
All door hangers are $25, which includes all paint and supplies.
Light appetizers and snacks will be served. We look forward to a
great night of fun and fellowship. Bring a friend. Last day to
register is December 4th. Nursery will be provided.

Lottie Moon Offering
December is the time we emphasize International Missions and
collect the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Our church goal is
$12,000. The Ingathering will be Dec. 11th with guest speaker
David Kizziah.
This week, please pray especially for the following Southern
Baptist Missionaries serving around the world: the Harrell
Family in Nacala, Mozambique; the Copland Family in Verona,
Italy; David & Hanna Harris in South America.
There will be a Mission Study on Norway on Dec. 7th during
Prayer Meeting.

Prayer Group
There will be a prayer group meeting in the Heritage Room
each Wednesday at 5:30 PM to pray for the Pastor Search
Committee. Everyone is welcome and invited to come pray.
Tuesday Night Prayer
The Sanctuary is open each Tuesday night from 6:00 to 8:30
for prayer time. Please pray for the future of our church and
the Pastor Search Committee.
Salvation Army Bell Ringers
The Salvation Army is looking for groups to help ring the bell.
If your Sunday School class would like to help, please contact
Karen Elwell or Chip Hall.
Community Food Drive
The Mission Committee is asking that everyone help replenish
the Community Food Bank by bringing non perishable food
items by Dec. 5. There is a box outside of the office for items
to be placed in. Food Giant will match donations made for
Our Local Food Bank.

Children's Christmas Breakfast

Sunday, December 18 @ 9:45 am

We are inviting everyone to bring a breakfast item and join us for

our annual Children's Christmas Breakfast. We will enjoy
fellowship and celebrating God's Greatest Gift together,
concluding with a shortened Sunday School lesson for the kids at
10:20 am. Preschoolers will be dismissed to the preschool
hallway while elementary children will gather in the Fellowship
Hall. The church will provide milk, juice and paper products.
Hope to see you there!

Our last meeting for the 2016 year will be on Wednesday,
December 7!

Fellowship Club
The Fellowship Club will have the annual Christmas lunch on
Monday, Dec. 5th at Elizabeth & Me (Faye Martin) located at the
Bainbridge Marina out Spring Creek Road - turn left at Barber
Fertilizer. The cost will be $12 each. Please call the church office
by Friday, Dec. 2nd to sign up so we can give her an accurate
count to prepare for. The dinner will begin at 12:00. You can pay
at the church office or at the door.

One of our students, Savannah Padgett, is heading up

a community service project and needs help from her
church family. The following is information about
the project and how you can have a part in helping
her reach her goals!
It is the Little Things that Make a Difference is a
community service project to benefit Memorial
Manor and Bainbridge Health Care Residents. Items
being collected for Christmas include deodorant,
scented lotions and body sprays, Dial pump soap,
mens cologne, TRESemme shampoo, nail polish,
remover & cotton balls, white socks, handkerchiefs,
word search books and gently used purses, scarves
and costume jewelry. A list of items requested has
been posted on bulletin boards around the church and
is available next to the collection boxes that are
located by the church office, church sanctuary, and in
the youth building. Donations are requested
by Monday, December 12th. Thank you for your
support of this community service project.
