How did you feel about conducting a formal observation?
From my point of view, conducting a formal observation is something needed effort and need a responsible
person that can focus while observing the lesson. If I wasnt responsible and didnt observe in a good way, I
will not be able to give a fair feedback that analyzes Safeyyas work and attitude while explaining the
lesson. Besides, being in a formal observation is something gave me an experience on how I should deal
with formal observations from now. Because, maybe, as a future teacher, I will be responsible for student
teachers and should learn how to deal with their lessons and how to prepare myself for the future career.
How did your colleague feel about being observed?
In fact, my colleague said that she didnt feel that anything changes for her because she is a good lesson
planner. And she is always prepared her lessons in a good way, so, even that any visitor will come suddenly
to her class, she will not be afraid, and she will give her lesson in a confident way.
How did you feel about discussing your observations with your colleague after the lesson?
I felt that Im responsible for something critical because if I didn't be fair and honest, while giving her the
feedback, I can frustrate her and destroy her feeling and make her feel sad about the lesson. So, I was
careful while Im giving the feedback by using the suitable words while taking.
