WEEKLY PRESS CONFERENCE
For the 18th consecutive year, WDVE-FM (102.5) and WBGG-AM (970)
are carrying all Steelers games.
Additionally, Steelers games can be heard on a 48-station network

For the 22nd straight season, Bill Hillgrove serves as the Voice of
the Steelers and handles play-by-play duties for the broadcast. Joining
Hillgrove for his 18th season as an expert analyst is Tunch Ilkin, the
former Steelers All-Pro oensive tackle. Joining the team for his 14th
season is former Steeler oensive lineman Craig Woley, who provides
sideline analysis.

STEELERS ON THANKSGIVING
The Steelers earned their second win on Thanksgiving Day
in team history on Nov. 24 (Week 12), defeating the Indianapolis
Colts 28-7 in a nationally televised primetime game on Thursday
Night Football.

THE STEELERS
Pittsburgh improved to 6-5 overall, 5-3 vs. AFC
teams, 3-3 on the road and to 3-0 in primetime games
in 2016.
The Steelers earned their second win on Thanksgiving
Day in team history.
The Steelers are now 17-6 in regular-season history
against the Colts (6-4 on the road) and 2-0 at Lucas
Oil Stadium.
Pittsburgh is now 6-1 in primetime games against
Indianapolis during the regular season (3-1 on the
road).
The Steelers have won four consecutive regularseason games against the Colts, dating back to Sept.
25, 2011.
Pittsburgh improved to 4-2 in games against
Indianapolis in the month of November (3-1 on the
road in the month).
Pittsburgh has held each of its previous two
opponents to 10 points or less for the rst time since
the 2011 season (Dec. 24, 2011-Jan. 1, 2012).
WR ANTONIO BROWN
Set a single-game career-high with three touchdown
receptions, to go along with a game-high 91 receiving
yards on a team-best ve receptions.
His three touchdown receptions are tied for the
second-most in Steelers history for a single-game,
becoming the 13th player in team history to catch at
least three scoring grabs in one game.
Extended his consecutive regular-season games
started streak to 47 the third-longest active
consecutive games started streak among NFL wide
receivers.
Has registered at least one reception in 100
consecutive games in which he has played, including
the postseason dating back to October 3, 2010.
Has registered at least one reception in 95 consecutive
regular-season games dating back to October 3,
2010.
Hauled in his 80th reception of the season on his third
catch, extending his streak of 80-catch seasons to four.
Is the second player in Steelers history to have four
consecutive 80-catch seasons, joining Hines Ward
(2001-04).
Recorded at least 80 catches through the rst 11
games of a season for the fourth time since entering
the NFL in 2010. His 82 catches rank third-most in
Steelers history through the rst 11 games of a season.
Broke a tie with Heath Miller (45) for sole possession
for the fourth-most touchdown catches in team history
on his rst scoring grab of the game, and increased his
total to 48 with his third touchdown catch.
Increased his career touchdown total to 53 to move
into a tie with Lynn Swann for the fth-most combined
touchdowns in Steelers history.
His three touchdown receptions marked his 12th
multi-touchdown catch game of his NFL career - the
second-most multi-touchdown receiving games in
team history.
Recorded two touchdown catches in the rst half to
mark the fth opening half of his NFL career with two
touchdown receptions and second of the season (Oct.
2, 2016 vs. Kansas City).
Has caught at least two touchdown passes in three
straight games vs. Indianapolis.
RB LeVEON BELL
Totaled game-highs in rushing yards (120) and yards
from scrimmage (142), to go along with a rushing
touchdown.
Rushed for a ve-yard touchdown in the rst quarter,
his third of the season, and 22nd of his NFL career to
move into a tie with Walter Abercrombie (22) for the
11th-most rushing touchdowns in Steelers history.
Has rushed for a touchdown in three consecutive
games to mark the fourth such streak of his NFL career
(ve games: Nov. 17-Dec. 21, 2014; four games: Dec.
15, 2013-Sept. 7, 2014; three games: Sept. 27-Oct.
12, 2015).
Surpassed Rashard Mendenhall (3,367) for the fourthmost rushing yards by a Steeler in their rst four years
with the team, now with 3,476.
Posted the 11th 100-yard rushing game of his NFL
career.
Eclipsed 100 rushing yards in back-to-back games
for the second time in his NFL career (Oct. 1-Oct. 12,
2015).
CB WILLIAM GAY
Extended his consecutive regular season games
played streak to 155 the longest active consecutive
games played streak among NFL defensive players.
Recorded a strip-sack on Indianapolis QB Scott
Tolzien on the games rst play from scrimmage
marking his rst sack and forced fumble of the season
increasing his career totals to seven sacks and eight
forced fumbles.
Hauled in an interception, marking the 12th of his NFL
career and 10th as a Steeler.

Recorded a season-high 67 receiving yards on two
catches.
G DAVID DeCASTRO
Extended his consecutive regular-season games
started streak to 51 the fourth-longest active
consecutive games started streak among NFL guards.
S MIKE MITCHELL
Extended his consecutive regular season games
started streak to 57 the fth-longest active consecutive
games played streak among NFL safeties.
Picked o Indianapolis QB Scott Tolzien in the fourth
quarter to mark his 10th career interception and fourth
as a Steeler.
LB JAMES HARRISON
Brought down Indianapolis QB Scott Tolzien to mark
his fourth season of the season, increasing his Steelers
sack total to 78.5 the most by a Steeler since the
statistic became ocial in 1982.
Increased his career sack total to 80.5, becoming the
10th active NFL player with at least 80.0 sacks.
LB LAWRENCE TIMMONS
Extended his streak of consecutive regular-season
games started to 96 the longest active streak among
current Steelers and the longest active streak among
NFL linebackers.
Extended his consecutive regular season games
played streak to 115 the longest active consecutive
games played streak among NFL linebackers.
Totaled a game-high 10 total tackles (8 solo), along
with a quarterback hit.
NT JAVON HARGRAVE
Notched his second sack of the season, and a
quarterback takedown in back-to-back games, bringing
down Indianapolis QB Scott Tolzien for a loss of sixyards in the third quarter.
STEELERS-GIANTS HISTORY
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. RB Isaac Redman scored on a oneyard run with four minutes left in the game to seal the Steelers 24-20
victory over the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium. The Steelers
improved to 5-3 on the season with the win.
After a scoreless rst quarter, the Steelers took a 7-0 lead early in the
second quarter. QB Ben Roethlisberger found WR Emmanuel Sanders
for a four-yard touchdown pass that capped o an 11-play, 58-yard drive.
The Giants then scored 14-consecutive points in less than seven
minutes. RB Andre Brown scored on a one-yard run to tie the game 7-7.
And on the Steelers ensuing drive, Roethlisberger fumbled and Giants
LB Michael Boley returned it 70 yards for a touchdown.
Pittsburgh cut the lead 14-10 when K Shaun Suisham connected on
a 30-yard eld goal as the halftime whistle sounded.
The Giants extended their lead 17-10 on K Lawrence Tynes 50-yard
eld goal midway through the third quarter. Tynes added a 23-yard eld
goal late in the fourth quarter to give New York a 20-10 lead but it would
be the last points the Giants would score.
Early in the fourth quarter, Roethlisberger found WR Mike Wallace in
the middle of the eld and Wallace raced past defenders for a 51-yard
touchdown. It marked Wallaces 25th career reception of 25+ yards and
the 15th that went for a touchdown.
The Steelers defense forced a three-and-out on the Giants ensuing
drive. WR Emmanuel Sanders then returned a punt 63 yards to set the
Steelers up at the Giants 12-yard line. The Steelers drive stalled and the
team set up for a eld goal. Pittsburgh went for the fake but the Giants
stopped them short of the goal line.
Pittsburghs defense forced another Giants three-and-out. And on the
Steelers next possession, the team drove 51 yards on nine plays for the
game-winning touchdown.
Entering the game, the Giants had outscored their opponents by 42
points in the fourth quarter. The Steelers defense didnt allow the Giants to
score and the Steelers oense put up 14 points. After only being sacked
six times all season, the Steelers defense brought down Giants QB Eli
Manning twice.

Former Steelers/Giants
Steelers TE coach James Daniel held the same position
with the Giants from 1993-96.
Giants P Brad Wing punted for the Steelers during the
2014 season.
New York asst. DL coach Je Zgonina was selected by
Pittsburgh in the seventh round (185th overall) of the 1993
NFL Draft, where he played from 1993-94.

Steelers WRs Antonio Brown and Eli Rogers, along with

to lift the Cowboys to a 35-30 victory over the Steelers at Heinz Field.
The attendance of 67,737 was a Steelers all-time record for a home
game.
RB LeVeon Bell caught a two-yard pass from QB Ben Roethlisberger
to give Pittsburgh an early 6-0 advantage. K Dan Bailey connected on a
37-yard field goal to cut the lead to 6-3. Roethlisberger threw a threeyard touchdown to WR Eli Rogers to increase Pittsburghs lead to 12-3.
QB Dak Prescott connected with Elliott on an 83-yard touchdown pass
late in the first quarter.
Teams exchanged field goals in the second quarter. Bailey made
a 53-yarder, an NFL record at Heinz Field. And K Chris Boswell
connected from 39 yards out. Pittsburgh led 15-13 at the break.
Boswell made a 25-yard field goal early in the third quarter. Bailey
connected from 46 yards out on Dallas next drive. On the Cowboys
ensuing possession Prescott threw a 50-yard touchdown pass to WR
Dez Bryant to give the Cowboys a 23-18 lead heading into the fourth
quarter.
Bell scored on a one-yard run midway through the fourth quarter to
give Pittsburgh a 24-23 advantage. Elliott scored on a 14-yard run right
after the two minute warning to give Dallas a 29-24 edge. Roethlisberger
threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to WR Antonio Brown on a fake spike
play on Pittsburghs ensuing possession to give the Steelers a 30-29
lead.
But on Dallas final drive, Elliott scored the game winning touchdown.

INDIANAPOLIS - QB Ben Roethlisberger threw three
touchdown passes, all to WR Antonio Brown, to lift the Steelers
to a 28-7 victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Thanksgiving.
Pittsburgh took an 7-0 lead on a five-yard touchdown run by RB
LeVeon Bell on the Steelers first drive of the game. Late in the
first quarter, Roethlisberger and Brown connected on a 25-yard
touchdown to give the Steelers a 14-0 advantage.
The Colts lone points of the game came on a five-yard pass from
QB Scott Tolzien to WR Donte Moncrief early in the second quarter.
On the Steelers ensuing drive, Roethlisberger threw a 33-yard
touchdown to Brown. The Steelers led 21-7 at halftime.
Pittsburghs defense picked off Tolzien twice in the fourth quarter,
one interception from S Mike Mitchell and another from CB William
Gay. Roethlisbergers 22-yard touchdown to Brown late in the fourth
quarter sealed the victory for Pittsburgh.
