BSPinterface.Fourrulearedefinedforagentdeterminationforinvoiceapproval(FV60)workflow.Allthe
fourrulecategoryisRAgentdetermination:Responsibilities.Ifoundthatworkfloworganizationunit
positionismaintainedinallthethreerulesintheResponsibility.Howeverorganizationunitworkcenteris
usedunderresponsibilityinoneoftherule.
Cansomeonetellmewhatcouldbethereasonforassigningworkcenterinsteadofposition?
WhataretheadvantageofassigningusertoaworkcenteroverpositioninOrganizationUnit?

Practicallyonepersonoccupiesoneposition.ThatswhatHRterminologysays.The
reasonpositionisusedinsteadofuseridispeoplejoinandleaveanorganization.
Personsuseridislinkedtothepositionsothatevenifapersonleavestheorganization
someonewillreplacehisposition.
Intheabovescenario,theagentdeterminationfetchesonlyoneagentbasedonthe
positionandworkitemwillbesenttoonlyoneuser.
Butinaworkcenteryoucanaddanynumberofpeople.ThetcodeisPO01toadduses
toworkcenter.
ifyouarenotabletoadduserstoworkcenterusingthistcodecheckifyouhavegot
accesstothistcodeornot.Becoziusedthesametcodetoadduserstoworkcenter
directlyinproduction.

Foryourinformation,weareusingtheworkflowforFIinvoice
(viaFV60)&havemultilevelapprover.Inonelevel,invoice
processer(sapuser)maintainedagainsttheposition&
someapproverlevelinvoiceprocesser(sapuser)maintained
againsttheworkcenter.Aspermyknowledge,workcenter
isnormallyusedforHRmodule.Howeverwearenotusing
HR.
Cansomeonetellmewhatcouldbereasonbehindthe
workcenterinsteadofposition?
Isthereanyadvantageworkcenteroverposition?
