Hello parents,

My name is Emily Butler. I am a student teacher in Mrs. Drakos resource classroom

this fall. I will be in Mrs. Drakos class every morning until December 9th. I am a student at
Grand Valley State University studying to become a teacher. I am enjoying working with your
student. This year I will be observing in Mrs. Drakos class. I will teach some lesson to students
in both large and small groups. I will also help Mrs. Drakos with her lessons.
During my time with your student, I hope to build a strong classroom community. I hope all the
students and I will get along. Feel comfortable and safe around each other. I hope students will
be able to ask me any question they need. I also hope that students will respect me like any other
teacher. When I ask them to do something I want them to do it with little complaints. I want our
learning to be fun, but to do so I want all students to participate. I do not have a lot of rules, I
think once a community is built few rules are needed.
Some procedures we do have include: when we enter class sit at your desk and get out only what
is needed, raise your hand if you have a comment or question, listen while others are talking, and
follow instructions. If students follow these few rules they will receive a star at the end of every
class. Students can save up their stars to buy prizes.
I hope your student is enjoying their time with me! I cannot wait to see what the rest of the
semester brings us.

Yo nombre es Emily Butler. Yo soy una estudiante maestro en Seora Drakos sala de
clase este otoo. Yo estar en clase cada maana hasta nueve a Diciembre. Yo soy una estudiante
a Grand Valley State. Me gusta trabajando con tu estudiante. Este ano yo soy observando Seora
Drokos clase. Enseno poco lecciones por una estudiantes en largo y pequea grupos. Le ayudare
Seora Drakos con sus lecciones.
Durante nuestro tiempo junto, espero para construir una fuerte clase comunidad. Espero los
todos estudiantes y yo llevarse bien. Nos sentiremos cmodo y seguro con el uno al otro.
Pedimos preguntas como necesito. Espero estudiantes respeta yo como ellos hara otro maestros.
Cuando pregunto ellos hacer algo quiero ellos haces. Quiero nos aprendizaje hacer alegra. Yo
soy pequea reglas.
Algunos procedimientos que tenemos incluyen: cuando entramos a clase sentarse en su escritorio
y salir slo lo que se necesita, levante la mano si tiene un comentario o pregunta, escucha
mientras otros estn hablando y siga las instrucciones. Si los estudiantes siguen estas pocas
reglas recibirn una estrella al final de cada clase. Los estudiantes pueden ahorrar estrellas para
comprar premios.
