2 with a 2-1 Grand Finals win over Astralis.
This marks OpTic's second ever premier
tournament victory, following their win at
Northern Arena Montreal in November. The
team made it into ELEAGUE by beating
compLexity Gaming and the Detroit
Renegades in the preliminary rounds, then
placed second in their group with a 2-1
record.
In the playoffs, OpTic defeated
mousesports and FaZe Clan 2-0 before
facing off against Astralis, who beat Ninjas

Games, put an end to Challenger
Series promotion farming in the North
American League of
LegendsChampionship Series.
Vandenbree shared in a tweet that as
of this year, LCS sister teams are not
allowed to participate in Promotion.
The incentive to farm a CS spot is

mobile game eSports tournament
with a $100,000 prize pool to be
played live in Las Vegas by top
gaming celebrities. It will be live
streamed and re-aired on CBS
Sports Network, featuring games
like Fruit Ninja, Disney Crossy

semblance of esports in Champions of Fire.
The entire esports industry is based on the

Rocket League is a vehicular soccer video
game developed and published by Psyonix.
Described as "soccer, but with rocket-powered
