Y Introduce the student to the field of neurobiology as it relates to the development
of the brain.
m Y Familiarize the student with current research in the area of brain development
c Y Enable the student to understand the role of technology in the findings of brain
development
YCritically examine research and evidence in the field of neurobiology and brain
development
u Y Foster a multi-disciplinary approach to understanding human development
Y Encourage and demonstrate practical application of brain development research
to the field of early childhood development and psychology
V Y Familiarize the student with the concept of emotional intelligence and its
relationship to brain development
h Y Foster an understanding of difference between psychiatric and psychological
methodologies used in treating disorders as they relate to brain development

research the topic using at least one book and 2 research articles (from EBSCO).
Students will create a PowerPoint on their topic that will be emailed to the professor
