Application in the prescribed form are invited from Graduate
Engineers (Civil) belonging to S.T./S.C. Categories of the State
of Orissa for preparation of merit list of the candidates for
engagement as Asst. Engineer(Civil) in different Departments
of Government on contract basis with consideration
remuneration of Rs. 9,300/- (Rupees nine thousand and there
hundred) per month.

4. Selection Procedure: Marks secured in HSC/ +2 and Degree
Examinations on the basis of weightage assigned as follows:
H.S.C Intermediate/+2 Degree in Engineering Total

5. Age limit: A candidate must not be below 21 years of age
and not above 37 years of age as on 1st January 2010. 6.
Educational Qualification: A candidate must be a Graduate in
Civil Engineering from University/Institution recognized by the
Government.7. Certificates/ documents to be attached: A
candidates must submit true copies of the following documents
duly attested by a Gazetted Officer with his/ her application
form.
(i) Caste and Residential certificate from the competent
authority. (ii) All certificates and mark sheets in support of
educational qualification. (iii) Physically Handicapped
certificate, if any, from the competent authority. (iv) Two
passport size photograph duly signed by the candidate and
attested by a Gazetted Officer on the front side of the
photographs. (v) Two self addressed stamped envelopes of
size(22x10) cm
8. Other Conditions: (a) The engagement is on contractual
basis and is valid up to end February 2011. Renewal of the
contact can be considered subject to satisfactory
performance evaluated by the competent authority. (b) Mere
employment in the list of successful candidates shall not confer
any right for contractual engagement. (c) Incomplete and
defective application shall summarily rejected. (d) The applicant
if selected shall give an undertaking that in future he/shall not
claim regular scale of pay and other allowances for continuing
in the said post. (e) The complete application with all enclosures
should reach the Commissioner-cum-Secretary to
Government, Department of Water Resources, Govt. of Orissa,
Rajiv Bhawan, Bhubaneswar by Registered/ Speed post only.
