MGSE3.OA.2 Interpret whole number quotients of whole numbers, e.g., interpret 56 8 as the number of
objects in each share when 56 objects are partitioned equally into 8 shares (How many in each group?), or
as a number of shares when 56 objects are partitioned into equal shares of 8 objects each (How many
groups can you make?). For example, describe a context in which a number of shares or a number of groups
can be expressed as 56 8.
Mathematics- 3rd Grade
Brief Description of Learning Experience: The students will be addressing the math standard above
where they will interpret whole number quotients of whole numbers through partitioning strategies of
numbers within 100. The blog audio file describes to the students that they will be learning the 3s times
tables in order to learn how to apply different strategies of multiplication. The students will also be able to
create their own audio and upload it to the blog where they can practice their 3s times tables and listen to
their answers being played back to them. For example, a student may say that 3x2=6 and they can listen to
their answers later on as a reference for studying and memorizing.

Student Engagement/Level of Technology Implementation (LoTi): The students will reach the 4th levels
of technology implementation because of their able to integrate knowledge and create their personal files
that can be shared with groups inside and outside of the classroom.
Importance of technology: The project could be created without the technology because it has been for
many years before the use of technology. However, I believe that using the audio files and allowing the
students to learn from their own voices is beneficial to their learning and assists in gaining a deeper
understanding of various content. The students can record their own work and listen to it in order to
effectively produce what they have learned.

Internet Safety and Student Privacy: If students create their own work, it is possible for their to be risks
for Internet safety. To prohibit this from happening in cases of shared products, I would ask permission
from students parents and from the school administration to produce and work from the children. I would
also limit names or any other personal information from being accessed by groups outside of the classroom.
Describe your personal learning goal for this activity. I am hoping that the students learn the importance
of using diverse technology to gain more content knowledge. I have never tried to use a blog before, but I
find it important to use as a future educator to benefit my students learning and encourage more parent
involvement. I believe that using various technology resources can effectively improve overall academic
engagement and success.
