1. Application
This machine is provided for Malaysia project, which is used for
scraping and reclaiming bulk material such as gypsum and limestone.
After stacker has finished stack according the rules, the machine will
reclaim according to the pre-program in order to reach the purpose of
uniformity. The machine is applied to work indoors.

4. Basic Structure and Working Principle


Reclaimer include: scraper reclaim mechanism, hoist
mechanism, machine body, fixed end beam, swing end beam, rail
system, guide chute, chute system, power cable reel,
controlling cable reel, etc.

4.1 Scraper reclaim mechanism


Scraper reclaim mechanism is the main part of the machine.
The driving device joints with the driving shaft through
shring disk. The chain wheel of the driving shaft drive the
chain and the fixed scraper to run, and the material will
be scraped beside the material store.
Driving device is made up of motor, coupling and reducer.
The reducer is rectangular axis, hardness teeth surface, and
hollow shaft.
The boom frame has a joint bar between two H-shaped beam,
there is a rail guide chute to support chain.
A tension device is set in tension chain wheel end in
order to adjust chain.
Wearable scrap teeth are set in each scraper reclaim
surface.

4.2 Frame and traveling end beam


The function of frame and traveling end beam is to support
the whole machines weight and drive the reclaimer to
reciprocate on the rail. The frame is rigid table with
box-shaped structure. The traveling end beam is made up of wheel
group, driving device and support beam. The lower of the
traveling end beam can travel on the rail, and the upper is
jointed frame table with bolt. The two driving device are all
set on the fixed end beam.
Driving device is made up of motor, reducer,
electromagnetism clutch shunting motor, rectangular axis
reducer and braker.

Note: the two motors cant in same working condition. When start
one motor, another motor must be in stop running state.

4.3 Hoist system


This system is swing mechanism and is using for scraping
reclaiming, it is made up of support frame, hoist and slider.

4.4 Lubricating system for chain


There is a diluted oil lubricating station, through the oil pipe and oil
director, it can drop the oil on the chain in order to keep the two ways in
normal working condition.
In normal working condition, it is required to lubricate every
3 hours, and the time of lubricating should be 5 minutes, the
total oil should be reached 1.25 liter.

4.5 Cable reel


Power cable reel is made up of single row big diameter reel,
collector ring, reducer and torque stifled running motor.

5. Operation
This reclaimer adopts 3 operating ways, thats auto-control,
manual-control on the machine and near the machine controlling
(maintain). These operations are carried out by transforming
switches of working state.

5.1 Manual-control on the reclaimer


Manual-control on the machine is suitable for working state in the
trial and breaking down in auto-control and requires the reclaimer going
on working, and allows reclaiming and stacking according to
non-stipulated reclaiming way. The operator controls the corresponding
button inside the control room on the stacker. When the working switch is
at the manual-control position, auto and near the stacker (maintain)
working switches may not be connected. The manual-controlled switch
on the stacker may be operated separately for discharging belt conveyor
on the boom, hydraulic system, walking system. They lost interlock, but
the protections of every system still have function.

5.2 Auto-control
Under the way of the auto-controlled, the stacker is controlled by
central controlling room or on the stacker control. In auto-control state,
starting order as following:
a. Starting outlet belt conveyor (linkage signal)
b. Starting hoist system
c. Starting scraper boom rising in the position of 48.

d. Starting cable reel.


e. Starting travelling mechanism, shunt reclaimer to material storage.
f. Starting hoist system, set scraper boom in material angle of repose
position.
g. Starting traveling motor to have flat work.
h. Starting scraper reclaimer system to reclaim material.
The normal stops order:
a. Stopping scraper reclaimer system
b. Stopping traveling mechanism
c. Stopping hoist system when the scraper boom has been in 48
position.
d. Stopping cable reel
e. Stopping outlet belt conveyor (linkage signal)

5.3 Operation beside the reclaimer (maintenance)


When the working switch is beside the stacker (maintain), auto
and manual switch may not be connected. The manual switchs
function on the stacker is the same as the working switch beside the
stacker. The operating buttons are only mounted in the helpful repair
position. Working state beside the stacker doesnt install travelling
operation button.

5.4 Shunting
The scraper boom must be risen in +48position, and then
reaches the area of specify reclaim.

5.5 Emergency stop


When there is an emergency, must stop the machine. Push
emergency switch to stop the reclaimer.

6Checking and maintenance


Have a regular checking and maintenance will make the machine
having a long service life

6.1 Alarm signal


In order to keep the reclaimer in normal working stating and deal
with the emergency fault on time, it is supplies an alarming device.

6.2 Lubricate
According to table 1 and the running condition to having a
lubrication.

6.3 Maintenance
6.3.1 The chain of claimer system is one of important parts, operator
must check lubricating system.

6.3.2 If the chain pitch is damaged partly, the damaged chain pitch can be

changed singly, but the two corresponding part must be changed in same
time.
6.3.3 When the transport chain is worn more than 2%, operator must
change the chain.
6.3.4 Adjust bolt and nut to make the two scraper chain obtain the same
pre-tension.
6.3.5 If the scraper teeth is worn, please change an other one.
6.3.6 Changed anti-friction plate for scraper: when worn degree of
anti-friction plate endanger scraper, should change it.
6.3.7 The driving chain wheel and tail chain wheel of scraper reclaiming
system are separating assembling structure, the rim is used bolt and hub
to fix together, check the wearing case of gear loop regularly.
6.3.8 When the hoist steel wire is worn or broken and reached the reject
stated value, must change it on time.
6.3.9 Every 2000 hours, operator must have a check to rail underlay plate,
if the underlay plate is loosen, please fix it.

7Installation
Installers should read and study carefully this director
and drawings of equipment and understand the main structure
and functions of the equipment. The installers should master
technical terms about reclaimer. The installation is as
following steps and requirements.

7.1 Preparation before installation


1. Before installation, verify and count all parts of stacker, ensure that those
parts in satisfied situation, and get ready washing oil, stow-wood, installation
tools and swing facility.
2. Level ground 5030m is prepared near working site, used for putting
install parts. Water, electrical and traffic condition and working room are
supplied for technician on site. Workers should have rest room, important
equipment and parts; tools and devices should be stored in a room.
3. Examine rail basis in the length 10m, error of height is not more
than 5mm, the error of hole distance of food is not more than 5mm,
accumulative space of 10 foot hole is not more than 20mm.

7.2 Installation Sequence


a. Installation of rail system.
b. Installation of travelling end beam (fixed, swing beam) section.
c. Installation of scraper reclaim system
d. Installation of hoist mechanism.
e. Installations of accounting weight block
f. Installation of other parts or components

Rail installation (Tolerance: in lengthways, the height tolerance is not


more than 10mm in each 25 meters, and the max. gradient is 1:1500 in
each 1.5 meters. The gauge tolerance is 5 mm, in the same side of rail,
transverse curve tolerance is not more than 2mm in each 2 meters
length, and the relative level tolerance is not more than 5mm.)

7.4 Installation of Frame table and Traveling end Beam

7.4.1 First, install fixed end beam (YD476-2PW) and swing end beam
(D273-10PW) according to the drawing. Install driving device, buffer,
rail clip on the end beam. The installed tolerance of driving device
should reach the drawing requirements. Set the two end beams on the
rail, and fix them.
After having the installation, must have a test, the requirements is
as following:
a. In the same side of rail, the central plane of wheel rolling round
should be in same level, the tolerance is not more than 2mm.
b. The diagonal tolerance of four braced points is not more than
6mm.
c. The height tolerance of four braced points is not more than
2mm.
d. The tolerance between center line of rail clip and center line of
rail is not more than 1mm.
7.4.2 After having adjusted traveling end beam, install frame
D636-3PW. Connect frame and end beam according to the
drawing requirement.
7.4.3 After having installed frame table, install support bar and
hoist system according to the drawing.

7.5 Installation of scraper conveying systemYD476-1PW


7.5.1 The scraper boom is cut into three parts for the transporting.
Use high strength bolt to joint the three parts according the drawing
requirements in site.
7.5.2 The reducer hollow shaft is installed in driving chain shaft,
and a shring disk is used to tighten the hollow shaft. The tighten
torque is as table 2.
7.5.3 The scraper, chain, chain wheel and rail should not have
interference.
7.5.4 Use screw and nut of tension chain wheel to adjust chain, the

tighten strength is 18000N, and the spring shrink is not less than
50mm.

7.6 Installation of cable reel


Pedestal of cable reel is welded on the platform of the cable reel;
cable reel is installed according to instruction for cable reel, and then
installed power, controlling cable reel. Parallelism of error of the
central line for cable reel and supporting seat is more than 2mm,
the verticality of the central line of cable reel and ground level is more
than 5mm, the direction of them should accordance with
requirement of drawing, after installing reel and twining by hand
without questions, performing twine cable. In trial running, if cable
draws tightly and limply phenomenon, adjusted moment according to
cable reel instruction.

7.7 The installation of counter weight block and keeping the


whole machine in balance
The total weight of counter weight block is accounted by design,
and the actual weight should be according to the adjusting case in site.
Before start the swing mechanism, the 60% percent of counter
weight block should be installed, and then start hoist, put counter
weight block into the box until the weight is reached 90% percent of
the total weight in order to keep the whole machine running in stably.

7.8 Installation of other parts


7.8.1 Installation of testing system TLCB 15 01W

The testing system of reclaimer is made up of boom frame limited
device and traveling limited device. According to the drawing and

local condition to install them, confirm the installed position, weld the
support frame and limited block on the interrelated parts.

7.8.2 Installation of chain lubrication systemD273-9PW


Use coal oil to clean the oil box, oil pipe and other parts before
install the lubrication system.
7.8.3 Installation and welding should be carried according to the drawing
requirements and the description.

8. Commission
8.1 Preparing before the commission
The content and requirements please see table 3.

8.2 Commission without load


Testing item and content as following table 4The result and
requirement should be as following:
a. Each driving device should be started separately, and unload
commission should be not less than 10 times, if there is no problem,
the reclaimer can has linkage unload tests, and the tests must be not
less than 5 times, and then have 5 times linkage unload tests with
stacker, each time is not less than 2 hours.
b. In the table, each content and requirement must according to the
order: side commission, manual commission and auto commission.
c. The bearing temperature increase should not be permitted to be
more than 40C. The machine should be stopped, and if there are any

trouble occurred the problem should be solved before commissioning.

8.3 Commission with load


8.3.1 After the trial running without load performed normally, trial
running with load partly (beginning from 25-50% load), trial running
is not less than 6hrs partly.
8.3.2 When trial running partly, should increase load gradually, at
last, reach full load. After trial running partly, there is no problem, full
load trial running may perform.
8.3.3 When the load is added to reach the 110% percentage of
rated loading, have all kind of combinatorial running and start and
stop test.
8.3.4 Test conclusion requires: running should be smoothly and
stably, each frame has not permanent deformation and cracking;
coupling is not damaged and loosen.

8.4 Continuous commission


8.4.1 Check items in the trial running, if there are problems that
are not accordance with requirement, must stop the machine handling.
After running again, must check all items up to standard.
8.4.2 After handled the failure, because of stopping running, when
trial running again, the time count from beginning again without
accumulation.
