Reflection Paper
As an author, it is essential to write in a way that your audience can
understand and appreciate. I feel like getting straight to the point is a key in
writing because you do not want to make your audience bored when reading.
First you need to know what your topic is going to be about, then you can
move on to figuring out who is your audience.
This semester I did a restaurant review on Chill Out Hut. In this review I
focused on my audience and what I think they would like to know about the
restaurant. I asked myself I am going for local or is it for tourist. In the
review, I had a lot of description just to help my audience understand more
about the restaurant and what I wanted them to know. When it comes to
writing one has to be organize; the paper cannot be all over the place.
Another important element of writing can be found on my YouTube channel,
I thought about what I wanted to present first. Doing that it helped me to find
out what type of people I will be attracting to watch my videos. I wanted to
attract younger folks; everything I did on my channel was all about what
young viewers would love to watch. This made my views go up a lot more.

The way I went about editing and revising my paper was by re-reading
my entire essay to make sure all my sentences were formed properly and
everything was not all over the place. In other words, I re-read to see that my
paper flows smoothly and does not confuse my audience. I tried my best to
incorporate all that I have learned though the semester, so that I can transfer
my learning to next stages of my life.
One thing I learned from English class was how to be organize and also how
to describe different things that surrounds me ,so that my audience can
picture my description. Before I started this class I was bad at describing
thing, now I have grasp doing so. The class though me to pay more attention
to my audience and to really know my topic and to make use of re-reading
and editing my paper. The essay I have chosen is the restaurant review, this
is my strongest paper because I added organization and description in this
paper.
