This article is a study from MetroWest Massachusetts done in 2008. The study included
9th 12th grade students who had experienced cyberbullying and/or bullying at school and their
psychological distress resulting from the acts of bullying. The findings from the study confirmed
the need to create preventative programs as they did find a correlation between the effects of
bullying on student performance and overall mental stability.

the effects on adolescents overall health. The article notes the need for more longitudinal

function and duties of school psychologists and addresses the concern that some may

the issue and topic at hand.

This article looks at cyberbullying within higher education and includes faculty as
victims. The article discusses forms of bullying, laws related to bullying and details
bullying within adult-based environments. The authors surveyed students at an online
university and asked questions related to faculty as the victims of cyberbullying as well
as feelings on how cyberbullying should be addressed within an online educational
setting.
